GOPe losing Pennsylvania

Good John Fund, NRO, article on Penn. Gov. down big for reelection. Playing the GOPe handbook; Repubs. in control of legislature like the current system, Gov. discouraged primarying GOPe, Gov. went back on pledge to not raise taxes, etc. Where article is lacking is in not comparing Gov's. actions & non-actions with the standard GOPe playbook. And who exactly was/is advising the Gov.? Where did they come from? Experience? Friends of? The conclusion is good though; that the political machines of both parties have moved Penn. into following Illinois' path.

Forbes article on how bad the Ocare Medicaid expansion is, using the Republican Penn. Gov.’s program, Healthy PA, as an example. The Repub. Healthy PA was sold to the public as refined to address Pennsylvania’s situation. How’d that refinement work out? Of 24 requests by the Gov. to HHS for exceptions, 3 were approved in watered down form. Great Job GOPe Gov. Corbett. The article describes how the Medicaid expansion is not equal to existing Medicaid recipients. If you are a Medicaid expansion person, you are advantaged compared to existing recipients. Eg, Obama’s great Medicaid expansion is designed to negatively affect existing recipients. Hope and Change.
