I originally wrote this before New Jersey's primary election and have revised it post-Nov. 2012. Most TAMs probably don't this but, in the early 90s, New Jersey was the site of a taxpayer led voter revolt that managed to topple a governor and change control of the Legislature and for a little while kept the tax and spend liberals at bay.
Hoping this inspires us Tea Party conservatives who are disheartened by recent events. If citizens of even such a “blue state” New Jersey were able to rise up and influence their state's government, we really do have it in our power to continue the fight and win more battles again as we did in 2010.
