Well, my vacation is coming to an end, not entirely quite yet, but close. Today is my last day in New York, but I wanted you to know that I will be making a special Saturday appearance on Fox News this afternoon. At about 4:40pm ET (1:40pm PT) I’ll be on speaking about how politicians use media to move their message, and specifically what role New Media (internet as an example) plays when it comes to scandals like Foley and the Bill Clinton meltdown on Fox a couple of weeks ago. Should be fun and interesting. I think I may, just may, have a few things to say about the issue 🙂
Today, my friend Douglas Urbanski fills in for me at Tammy Radio. Please make a point of making him feel at home by calling, saying hi and chiming in about the issues.
In the meantime, I fly home tomorrow morning, and then all will be back on the regular schedule. I again want to thank Maynard for some excellent, thought provoking posts while I’ve been away. His post about the attack on the Minutemen at Columbia was linked to by a few other blogs and sources. Congrats Maynard!

So glad you finally took some well-deserved time off! I think this was your first real vacation since I started listening to you over a year ago.
I’m working all weekend and have been too busy to watch any news, which is a good thing. This Foley thing looks to be out of hand. In the words of the great Barney Fife, “nip it–nip it in the bud”—move on. Republicans just need to be swift with the house cleaning and the Dems should shut their mouths. They’re acting like they have no past.
I missed your appearance today, but will be watching Monday morning.

I would like to suggest that you set up an email alert system to let us all know about your tv appearances. I always seem to find out about them after the fact.
