Well, well, well. I always say to you here and on Tammy Radio that some of the positions of the Bush White House don’t quite make sense, and the truth will eventually reveal itself. I’ve said it repeatedly about his amnesty obsession, and now we just may have the truth about the inexplicable back-room attempt to hand our ports over the Jew-hating Islamist country of Dubai/UAE.

Bill Gertz is reporting if we approved them taking over the majority of our ports, they would “allow” us to look inside their worldwide port network. Of course, one would think if you were a true ally in the War on Radical Islamists, you wouldn’t need a pay-off of to let us keep an eye on worldwide port activity.

At the same time, I think it would be nice if we actually used spies to spy on things like that so we wouldn’t have to ask a country run by the equivalent of the enemy (Radical, Jew-hating, misogynistic Islamists) for permission to get the information we need to keep this nation safe.

Selling off a major infrastructure element of our nation, putting at serious risk our homeland security, to accomplish what our intel agencies should have been tasked to do anyway. Absolute effing-genius.

CIA sabotage

Former Inside the Ring co-author Rowan Scarborough has written a new book revealing a key reason the Bush administration pressed hard for the 2006 deal for the United Arab Emirates-based Dubai Ports World to take over management of several U.S. ports.

According to Mr. Scarborough, the administration wanted the deal to go through because the UAE government had agreed to let the United States post agents inside its global port network who could report on world shipping. Dubai Ports currently runs port facilities at key U.S. intelligence targets, including Venezuela, China, Pakistan, India and Saudi Arabia.

  1. Tammy, Gertz’ report in the WashTimes is simply another blunder by the Bush Administration, another nail in their collective coffin.

Wonder how many quasi-Conservative-fence-sitters this revalation will alienate? This makes me think that there are not very many other nations who are willing to take up the War on Terror as President Bush urged years ago, becoming an ally to the United States in the hunt for Islamofascists, al Qaeda and Osama.

To me, this rings of a sell out, and in this case where American, Western civilization is concerned, the ends Do Not justify the means.
    >>What the heck was the Bush Administration thinking, in offering up our ports’ management to Dubai Ports?!
Again, what will the Undecideds think of Conservatives after this?

I smell a rat in this, and it’s hiding behind that podium with the Presidential seal over there, and maybe up in Kennebunkport, Me., too.

All I can say is Thank Goodness the American public rose up together, united again, to oppose this travesty at the time. THAT only goes to show the ‘united-ness of us Americans when such an affront is proposed to us; hooray for at least that much, huh?
I am again feeling embarrassed to admit I voted for George W. twice. What twisted thinking!
