It was a dark and stormy night...

For those of you who listen to Tammy Radio, I really want to apologize for the show being on tape quite for a few days this last week. Today is, once again, one of those days. It has been a crazy week combined with fire issues (everything is fine), work issues (deadlines and a special project I’ll tell you about in more detail when I’m at liberty to do so), and moving from the Power Shack to great new place.

Today is Day One of a two-day moving adventure, requiring another “Best Of” on the radio. I do promise you that tomorrow’s Tammy Radio Weekend will be live 🙂 I just wanted to thank you all for your patience and understanding. Obviously, all that I’ve listed for you has also affected the frequency of my blogging. That will also get back to normal sooner than later. I do want to thank Maynard for great posts (as always) and you Commenters for chiming in keeping things lively.

The week after next also offers some unique opportunities. As you ll know, a Pepperdine speech I had scheduled was postponed due to the Malibu fire. While most of the fires are now under control (but still burning) we still need to have things settle down and then we’ll have a new Pepperdine date for you.

My speech at Penn State is confirmed for November 7th. Anyone can attend so if you’re near the State College, PA area, I’d love to see you. Right after that, I’ll be visiting my Las Vegas affiliate, KDOX, from November 9-10. I’ll have more details on that for you soon as well.

Thanks again everyone, and consider this an Open Thread for this afternoon. I’ll be blogging again today on the issues.

Hey, with the week you’ve had, no need to apologize. Hopefully tonight you can sit down and enjoy a smooth and refreshing martini. I don’t know what your favorite vodka is, but if you haven’t tried Ciroc, I highly recommend it. It’s made from white wine grapes and it’s heaven in a glass and one of the few things courtesy of the last ex for which I’m grateful. 😉

At least you’ll be in the big ten! I’ll do my damndest to be there. I’m sure your appearance will bring out the “feminist” crowd and the “womens studies” department. Your truth will be holy water to Linda Blair to them. Bring on Tammy baby!!!!

ooh! Penn State? Not terribly far from me, but I may have to work! (drat)

  4. I’m just glad that you and yours are safe, T.
    We understood the absence.

I agree with those above me.
How is the air where your are? Here in Cerritos it has been awful the last 5 days! Nose, throat and lungs have had problems all week! But at least I and the folks nearby still have our houses.
BTW I agree with what Al Rantel said they should do with the fire setters!

Been missing you Tammy! But I must confess, it’s not just due to your absence, but a very (and I mean very) attractive assistant has been in my office since Aug. It’s been a distraction and I’ve actually ditched listening to your show a few times to go to lunch or chat—which is normally a rare event for me.
I’m sure it will pass, but what a dilemma!
    :o)

Looking forward to the show on Monday and hearing about your new home. I’m so happy for you. Congratulations!

For those of us who are purists, Penn State made it the Big Eleven. It had 10 long before they joined the conference.
