Tammy’s mentioned the music that was played when Sarah Palin was introduced in Dayton. The music was from the movie “Rudy”. I think it was a wonderful choice as the movie was an inspirational story NOT of what you can do if you receive the right government handout, but what you can do if you believe in yourself, labor long, and refuse to listen to people who insist on informing you of the futility of your efforts. Great music, great movie, great choice for VP.

It’s unbelievable that these *#@)!%@s proclaim that God is on their side while thousands of lives are endangered here in Louisiana! I am so saddened by our terrible luck only 3 years post Katrina! What was that terminology Tammy used… malignant narcissism?

It reminds of the stone-aged people believing that a meteor-hailing of several cities was God’s judgement against those cities. What kind of thinking is that…that every earthly disaster is due to a direct order from God as punishment? I already said, STONE AGED THINKING.

You know, I kind of got over Tammy in 2006 when she threw George Allen under the bus for that ridiculous macaca business. Well, read this post:

I never said “Thanks” Tammy… “Thanks” for being one of Daily Kos’ useful idiots, and a stooge for the drive-by media.

Steve, I’m glad your fantasy of lashing out at Tammy that has evidently been building for 2 years is finally achieved and that you can now go on with your life.

I just thought I’d share a couple of concerns about the upcoming election. Even though Governor Palin is the only one of the four candidates on the ticket with executive experience, she governs a state larger than most countries, which has only foreign countries as neighbors (Canada and Russia), and is at the heart of our energy debate, and that she lives all of the conservative and patriotic ideals she espouses, there is one gap in her resume: she was never a community organizer.

Also, has anyone pondered the question: If, God forbid, something happens to Joe Biden, will Barack Obama be ready to take the helm as Commander-in-Chief?

  5. Shawmut says:

Good point Ashleymatt. The order of succession? or a VEEP picked from what resource of Willing, Wanting and Pliable Democrats.

  6. marleed says:

    Ashleymatt,

Amen to that!  A fairly impartial lady at the Boston Globe put it another way:

Now McCain, 72, might keel over soon, leaving in charge the new governor of Alaska (where polar bears outnumber people) and the ex-mayor of Wasilla (size of a large urban high school). Risky though that is, McCainiacs can argue: What’s riskier? McCain dying, which is unlikely, or Obama winning, meaning President No-Experience takes over Day 1?

No nail biter decision here, folks!

  7. helpunderdog says:

Al Qaeda claimed Katrina was God punishing the U.S.

I see Michael Moore and other weak minded leftists share the same intellectual capacity.

  8. Young American says:

B.Husseins experience has been running for political office and saying ‘ present ‘ when the time to vote yes or no on an issue comes around. Hussein has no business being on the top or bottom of the ticket.

He cannot show us his accomplishments because he hasn’t any. What a pathetic joke. I’d love to see a debate between Sarah Palin and Hussein. Our veep choice would slaughter him, he who is to be king.
