While Cindy McCain isn’t going anywhere, and her remarkable international work to help children will obviously continue, I would say one of the biggest things we lost Tuesday was the impact this woman would have had as First Lady. Here are a couple pics from the Biltmore in Phoenix, as Cindy stood with her husband while he conceded the race. She was, as usual, the picture of grace and style. Tammy Blog will keep an eye on her travels and will always keep you up-to-date. And never forget: Cindy McCain was the First Lady 56 million Americans voted for.

All of us should be so lucky to have a spouse who looks at us like this in a time of defeat. Yes, I’m a romantic, but you all know this by now.

Barack Obama we can fight, but no matter how many victories we have in slowing that menace down, I would have preferred fighting John McCain at least to have the victory of this woman and Sarah Palin in the White House. I’m mad about many things that have transpired during this election. About this, I’m sad for us.

    Cindy-Sarah 2012! ;o)

The more I learn about Cindy, the more I admire her. She is an inspiration. She rolls up her sleeves and puts her money where her mouth is. She is a remarkable person.

I’m ,like you, angry about many things, but the loss of Cindy to our country is great. We will live on to see the rise of the Sarah again! Cindy will continue her fight to help children. Let’s just hope that the occupants of the White House can at least pick the right dog. Conservatives will come back! Remember 1994~ Sarah, Sarah, Sarah~!

I’ve met her before. She’s a very gracious lady. It was actually at a military funeral, and instead of arriving for the cameras, she came quietly so she wouldn’t take the focus off of the now-Gold Star Mom who was burying her son. I’m gonna miss having her as the First Lady more than having a quasi-conservative in office.

I wonder if Michelle O is gonna pull an inaguration-day fit like Hillary did.

I hope JMac retires when his term’s up and Cindy runs for his Senate seat. That’d be an improvement all the way around.

Cindy McCain is the personification of “GRACE”.
I won’t even try to say more.

Yes, SHAWMUT, Grace, indeed. What a lady.

John and Cindy McCain aling with Sarah Palin would have meant pure class in The White House.
Instead we have Obama, Biden and Michelle Obama.
McCain/Palin deserved world celebration and instead it goes to political hacks and their mean spirited and nasty drones.
