    Tammy,

I heard your comments about Ms. Powers at Fox. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. I thought I was the only one that thought she was experiencing a “bad smell” all of the time. She has been an unrelenting critic of Bush and never could admit any good results from this administration.

You do a great job on Laura’s show. Keep up the great work.

Tammy, the reason the “Ladies” of FOX look the way they do when you are around is because YOU’RE HOT… They’re NOT…PS. (And they cry at Weird Al songs, NOT Karen Carpenter) Smiles.

You are doing a great job filling in for Laura!

Re: The Drudge poll of topless politicians.

We really have gotten to the American Idol phase of politics. It’s a bizarro world.

  4. Pathman says:

Nice to hear you on the airwaves instead of streaming. You must get some new listeners when that happens. Good show!

I can’t find this show online. Laura is not listed on Talk Stream Live’s website and I am not going to pay to listen from her website. That’s 2 days without Tammy, sucks.

I listen to Tammy at the office, where we don’t have a radio. I have no problem finding Laura’s show by clicking on the “Listen Live” link under the very hot picture of Tammy with Snuffy the right margin of the main tammybruce.com page. Laura is #1 in her time slot so she’s right at the top of the page.

Re: crying buckets during a Carpenters’ Christmas song and Yentl. . .it’s definitely hormonal. Trust me. . .I will tear up during a cellphone commercial! A couple of weeks ago, when Survivor had the “family” reward. . .buckets! It’s Survivor, for heavens sake. Trace Adkins’ “Arlington” and “You Didn’t Come Here to Die.” “Drive” by Alan Jackson. I never used to do that. . .maybe Christmas carols, or the Star Spangled Banner, but Survivor??? At least I haven’t shot anyone in a hormonal mood swing. . .yet. . . . . .

I have been listening to you a couple of times while you filled in for Laura, and you are great and inspirational. This afternoon, I had to listen to your show again via the Internet. I love what you have to say, and I truly listen to the thoughts and ideas that you expound. Thank you so much, Tammy.

    Tammy,
I’m listening to you on Laura Ingraham’s show and I couldn’t agree with you more regarding both the Bush administration in general and Secretary Rice, in particular. I voted for him both times and am a conservative, first. Very disappointed.

Thanks for your candor and courage.
    Sincerely,

Update on Mattel’s pathetic response to the “Islam is the Light” Little Mommy Doll

December 26, Washington DC: In a policy reversal – of their earlier policy reversal – Mattel has re-posted their October 13 public statement about the “Islam is the Light” doll at their website. Mattel’s public statement admitting the controversy about the doll went back up at their website just before Christmas Eve – and at the end of the Christmas gift purchasing season. This is the second time Mattel has reversed their public position about releasing information to the public about the toy, a talking doll that advocates for Islam to children without any disclosure to parents that it says “Islam is the light.”

Just before Christmas Eve, December 24, 2008, when parents and grandparents had already purchased their gifts and the controversial toy lay wrapped under Christmas trees nationwide, Mattel put their public statement and the alleged soundtrack from the doll back on their website.

Moms Ask Mattel for Accountability asks retailers and Mattel to provide full refunds for parents who choose to return the doll, whether they have a receipt or not, whether they purchased the doll themselves or received it as a gift from relatives or friends. MAMA founder Denise Lee said, “Parents and grandparents purchased this doll without any disclosure that at least half of the dolls on shelves at Target, Kmart, Toys R Us, some Walmarts and other retailers still have the sound chip that says ‘Islam is the light’. This is deceptive advertising by omission, by the FTC’s own regulations, and the least retailers can do is give parents a full refund when they return the doll.”

  15. Steve says:

    Hello Tammy,

I enjoy your show but we really did not need to ridicule James Baker, the Iraq Study Group (or Iraq surrender group) and pipe all the selling points to the debacle in Iraq.

It is true that Pres. Bush initiated the surge in Iraq, but had he followed the advice of his Generals (Shinseki, Shelton, SecArmy White) we would never have needed a surge because sufficient number of personnel would have been Iraq when they were needed.

So you know I’m a Reagan conservative who voted for President Bush twice…I’m also a Reservist who spent 3 years mobilized of which half my time was in Iraq.

I am genuinely upset at the way our civilian leadership has handled this war, but I’m even more disappointed to hear Sean, Rush and yourself critisize James Baker for trying to pull all of our a—es out of a serious problem that was caused by George Bush.

It’s unfortunate but when the Iraq Study Group was commissioned the war was already so mishandled that there was no good answer. I didn’t regard President Bush’s surge in Iraq as some burst of wisdom, rather the act of a desperate man trying to salvage the war on the backs of our Soldiers and Airmen. I give all credit Gen’l Petraus, not George Bush or Donald Rumsfeld.

I believe President Reagan would never have allowed our Army to be so entagled in that mess and would have had the guts and forsight to initiate a draft after 9-11 so our Soldiers would not need to be so over extended.

I could go on forever but I would really hope you read my e-mail rather than delete it due to its length….:)

Thank you again for keeping up the fight and I hope you had a very Merry Christmas.

    Steve

  16. Bob Cates says:

Tammy, I was listening today when you were critical of Rice. I think you are being unfair with her. You wanted to know of an acomplishment and I am hard pressed to put one up. However, my thought about her is this. She is Sec State not the President. It is his policy that she is working with. It seems to me that his policy was to put idea’s up and it was up to the principals to work that out amongst themselves. But even more than that, when you have such divsion in the political ranks as displayed by Reed and Pelosi saying the President is a Liar and that the war is lost. How then is anyone supposed to accomplish anything. You have just announced to the other side that there is division among the ranks. I believe the Reed and pelosi made conducting foriegn policy difficult at best and impossible at worst. These two acted in treasonest ways and in WWII they would have been put on trial for sedition. I get that the buck stops here mentality but you can be cut off at the pass and she surely was by those two. The only blame that Rice and the President should get on those failures is that they did not call those two idiots out and let the American people and the world know who was in charge.

To think that the two are still in Congress leading it chills me to the bone. Frankly I don’t see a nickels worth of difference between a Democrat or a Republican. They all knew this finantial disaster was coming because they caused it. Now we are standing by and letting them fix it. As a voting group we not very smart. If we want change, they all need to go.. I say that because if they did not have a hand in causing this, then they are wrong because they did not do enough to stop it. That makes them all guilty.

  17. RobK says:

Condi Rice has done absolutely nothing! I’ve always respected Rice as a professor, but she is and never has been cutout to serve as Sec. of State.
