Sources Say Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. Is ‘Senate Candidate No. 5’

Here’s ABC’s segment regarding the unused McCain ad focusing on Jeremiah “G-Damn America” Wright. One ABC talking head actually praises McCain for not running the spot. Yeah, because McCain’s bizarre reticence gave Obama the White House. The McCain team is still essentially apologizing for even considering dealing with the character issue. No wonder the man lost.

Dianne “Corelone” Feinstein and Bob Bennett don’t want you drinking til 5a.m.

The Volokh Conspiracy has the Obama/Blogojevich timelineregarding Obama’s senate seat. This is a must-read so you can have a sense of how important this is.

Now, a November 5 news story has Obama, despite his denials, meeting directly with Blagojevich that day in Chicago. [UPDATE: This story has now been ‘clarified’ and actually removed the original report. Protocol of a standing report would be that you simply add any clarification to the end of it. In this instance, these cowards actually took the whole thing down. Wouldn’t it have been nice if every news story that contradicted or was critical of President Bush got removed because of complaints? (HT Palin 2012)]

Here’s a screencap of the original story (thanks and HT to Marlee):

Hill sources: Democrats, White House get auto deal

Pay raise for judges tucked into bailout plan

Well, our liberal president may have another big spending crazy deal with the Dems, but some Republicans have another idea. Not only were they not consulted, Shelby, Vitter, Ensign, DeMint and Coburn had a press conference today calling the deal a “travesty” and Shelby vowing a filibuster. Good for him.

In the meantime, a clever smartypants has created a new print ad for the automotive industry giving perspective to this whole damn thing.

From a Bostonian’s perspective this is going to be fun to watch as we have recently seen a state senator and city councillor (both Jackson disciples) indicted for corruption as well.
Can Jackson PUSH his son’s candidacy hard enough. He’s surely mad enough.
It will be a nice distraction to watch the onion being peeled back in Chicago. one of the comments I noticed from the “Trib”: “.. Mrs. Blagojevich also had a long business relationship with Antonin “Tony” Rezko, the Chicago developer and former Obama fundraiser who was convicted on fraud charges earlier this year. The Blagojeviches reportedly refuse to disclose how much the real estate company made off Rezko…”
The Illinois First Lady is the daughter of a Chicago ward heeler Richard Mell, hardly an unknown in Chicago’s political mechanism.
Watch Rezko make loud and Jackson try to take the deal in this play.

I’m struggling to try and figure out what the “news” is that needs to be “investigated” about an ad that NEVER EVEN AIRED. They reviewed it for McCain, he rejected it, end of story. What is the “news” here? That McCain ran a weak campaign? Yeah, we already knew that. There might be bigger puppets for the Democratic Party in the media than Brian Ross, but I have yet to find one that isn’t so obvious in their agenda.

On the November 5 news story about the meeting between Obama with Blagojevich. The story has been pulled and the following has been added:

KHQA TV wishes to offer clarification regarding a story that appeared last month on our website ConnectTristates.com. The story, which discussed the appointment of a replacement for President Elect Obama’in the U.S. Senate, became the subject of much discussion on talk radio and on blog sites Wednesday.

The story housed in our website archive was on the morning of November 5, 2008. It suggested that a meeting was scheduled later that day between President Elect Obama and Illinois Governor Blagojevich. KHQA has no knowledge that any meeting ever took place. Governor Blagojevich did appear at a news conference in Chicago on that date.

That bailout ad was the best! My sides still hurt.

  6. The bailout ad. Oh, how precious. I am opposed to the bailouts myself. But this meme of domestic cars being so shitty is just plain stupid.
The one(s) who composed this ad likely still live in the 1970s. Things have changed since then, people. I do a lot of driving and have owned a lot of cars. I guess I just don’t know what is “right as my domestic vehicles have been, by far, the most reliable, trouble-free, and enjoyable of the lot.
I guess I just don’t know any better.

Let the car companies build what customers want instead of what Nancy Pelosi insists we buy and big three biz will flourish. Shrug off the unions and American companies will dominate.
