Regarding your comments re: the use of profanity…

I’m not offended by profanity, but enjoyed your comments about being allowed vs. not allowed and choosing not to.

In such matters, I’ve always said… Just because you have the RIGHT to do something, doesn’t mean it’s the RIGHT thing to do.

    to each their own…
    Keep up the great work!!!

I can see this is going to do wonders for our relationship with the Brits… for the last century our closest friend and allied military power.

Way to dump on your friends, BHO.

Whatever kind of dust-up appears to follow this “election”, look for and listen for the people who don’t appear at demonstrations and won’t be speaking up. Remember, Iran is a counter-intelligence (or police state), under an Ayatollah.
During the “Cultural Revolution” in China, certain key individuals were not seen among the public; scientists and engineers.
Remember, Mao used the “Cultural Revolution” and the “Red Guards” to expose and eliminate dissidents, numbers incidental.
Encouraged to step out, many independent thinking young Chinese fell into the same trap at Tiananmen Square and months following.
The Alpha Ayatollah could well be allowing dissidents to expose themselves. The polls may not be the only statistics obscured during all this.

Of course, while we’re all hadicapping the situation in Iran, North Korea still holds our two young women in jail.
In this latter case, though the women are Americans, they were reportedly kidnapped on the Chinese border. The Chinese could show a great hand in this – if they wanted to – by declaring the sovereignty of their own laws. Were China to act that way, or even led to act thusly, they would surely earn some accolades from around the world. They’d be shown as rather warm and chummy (allowing Tibet, Tianamen, etc. to be put aside for a while).
It might just be that, seeing themselves in that reflection, they would allow themseves to act more assertively regarding North Korea’s nuclear program and Kim and Son’s “missile envy”.
    Here’s a chance for a diplomatic finesse.
    Geez, I like this idea.
