Anita Dunn clip of her praising Mao to a bunch of high school children.

Since Anita Dunn, the White House Communications Director Hearts Chairman Mao and looks to him “first” for philosophical inspiration, it’s probably important for us to know who Mao considers “the people” (those who support socialism) and who is the “enemy” (those who do not support socialism). (HT Pat S.)

To understand these two different types of contradictions correctly, we must first be clear on what is meant by “the people” and what is meant by “the enemy” . . . At the present stage, the period of building socialism, the classes, strata and social groups which favour, support and work for the cause of socialist construction all come within the category of the people, while the social forces and groups which resist the socialist revolution and are hostile to or sabotage socialist construction are all enemies of the people.

And lastly, that refreshing and surprisingly impressive Ivanka Trump interview with Greta.

I attended the rally in D.C. on Saturday. I have never been to such an uplifting event in my life. It truly was a picture of Americana; all ages and stations of life and people from all over this wonderful country. I walked around for 6 hours and spoke with many people. My heart was so full this afternoon. Thanks Tammy for this wonderful show and forum for our views.

My feelings and thoughts are that the American people forgot about 11 Sept 2001, thus they elected a Liberal Congress, a Liberal Senate, and a Liberal President, while throwing shoes at my former Commander In Chief.

A Twilight Zone episode; “Wish it (9-1-1) into the corn field” is apparent here.

We lost over 3,000 souls in one day to Muslim Terrorism, and the Armed Forces has lost over 4,000 soldiers/airman/marines fighting many of these Muslim Terrorist on there own soil.

We in the Armed Forces are not fighting for AMERICAN FREEDOM, but for AMERICAN JUSTICE and MUSLIM’S FREEDOM from blood thirsty tyrants and mini Hitler’s in the Middle East.

We have given to this fight; arms, legs, eye sight, hearing, burn disfigurements, spinal cords (as in my case), mental problems, and even our very lives.

While praying for PEACE we are fighting a WAR.

I am sorry, the American people have forgotten 11 September, 2001, but the fighting men and woman of the Armed Forces will NEVER FORGET.

    GOD BLESS

I was able to watch the march on C-Span. I was excited to see all those(2 million strong) people show up in protest to the dangerous turn the administration is taking. I also watched it on Glenn Beck’s show as well. I wasn’t surprised by the mainstream media’s lack of coverage. We have a corrupt media similar to Pravda, so people should not be angry about this. This is where it is now, and they are losing money and ratings on a daily basis.

With all that said, I had some concerns about the multitude of speakers at the march. I have to agree with Tammy about the lack of inspiration from the speakers; and with the pseduo religious revival feel to it. I couldn’t agree more. This is my main concern. They had so many speakers rambling, it seemed a little incoherent at times. The only individual I looked forward to hearing was Dr. Yaron Brook of the Ayn Rand Institute. Unfortunately, he was only given 5 minutes before the music prompted him to leave the stage. I also liked the former Lt. Governor of New York, who was outspoken about this healtcare bill and its real intentions.

My point is there needs to be an intellectual battle in defeating collectivism and statism. It’s good that Americans are finally waking up from their inertia. In fact, if McCain had won, many of the policies the Obama administration is ramming down our throats would have gone through the back door without any real protest from anyone.

We need to look at the big picture. We need to fight this intectually and morally. This Cass Sustein, “regulartory czar” has been approved as Tammy said on Friday’s podcast. Mark my words this man is a threat to the whole concept of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the United States as a whole. He is more dangerous than the half literate, Ivy-league hacks that Obama has in his administration. We have to be able to stand up against this man with his so called “libertarian paternalism”. Sustein, with a straight face, believes that government should dictate the choices of Americans, under the guise of doing what’s best for us. If this isn’t totalitarianism I don’t know what is. His premise is taken seriously not only by the president but by many Americans.

This is why we have to fight against his onslaught based on ideas. The Republican party can’t do it. They can’t challenge anything because they are incapable of defending freedom, since they never really defended freedom in the first place. Constantly forcing religion into the public sphere has left them ideologically impotent. How can one justify freedom on the basis of religious text? Isn’t that what Saudi Arabia and Iran are doing right now. The entire Middle East is based on governance through religion. Are these countries free?? The tired platitudes and bromides aren’t working anymore. We have our work cut out for us. We have to defend our country on the basis of individual rights. I call it the LEAVE ME ALONE stance. We have the intellectual ammunition, we just have to use it.

President Obama is concerned about the uncivil public discourse in our town halls. Rumor has it he is set to name new “Civil public discource Czar.” He is a humble pastor who loves the lord and loves his country. He had been the President’s spiritual guide for 20 years. I forget his name but if Obama who is so enlightened has such respect for the man I believe he will be effective in his job.

Tammy, I don’t know if you have seen this interactive map from USA Today regarding the 9/12 march. http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2009-01-19-crowd_N.htm. The crowd was wrapped in a half moon pattern around the Washington Monument. After studying this map, I estimate between 2-2.5 million in attendance. NO WAY there were only 75,000 people there.

  9. cmoore324 says:

    Hello Friends,

Sorry for the late post about the march, but I have been busy this week. Am just now getting around to listening to Tammy’s Weekend podcast of the March.

As you may know, I was a volunteer for the event. I was posted backstage, so I was able to observe the organization and speaker arrangements. As someone who has done outdoor concert events, I do have minor criticism of some of the logistics, but all in all, I am amazed at how smoothly it went on Saturday.

If you weren’t there, you may not know that they had to start people walking 1 1/2 hours before the scheduled time because Freedom Plaza was so packed and was backing up towards the White House. We didn’t have a permit to be on the Mall, so they moved the crowd into the north and south lawn areas of the Capital and onto the sidewalks towards the Washington Monument and into Pennsylvania Avenue. The crowd went as far back as 8th street on the Ave, and to the Monument on the sidewalks. The sound system was intended for about 100,000 to hear, way too tiny for everyone to hear, but when I was sent to the Garfield circle for crowd control, you could still hear the stage. But once past the reflecting pool, it was lost.

Speakers began early due to people coming onto the lawn early, and those that spoke early were the most dynamic, IMHO. But one man during the “official” rally was especially moving. He was a Polish immigrant who had escaped from a Nazi death camp during WWII, fought in the Warsaw Ghetto, and is now a DR. in the States. His call for freedom and our fight was the most inspirational I have heard, and his effect on the crowd was amazing. This man KNOWS OPPRESSION, and is frightened at what is happening in the U.S.

I met people from all walks of life–Republicans, Democrats, senior citizens, young folks, families, gays, straights, black, white, and from every state (all 57 of them) in the nation. Not a soul was rude, mean, angry, or less than upbeat about what we were in DC for. The only folks that didn’t seem happy to be there were the ACORN zombies selling the yellow Don’t Tread on Me flags for $5 each!

Standing near the stage witnessing the sea of people coming our way moved me to tears and made me so proud to be a TAM member, a conservative, and an American. For the first time in my life I knew that I wasn’t alone in my views and values that Mother passed down to me. So thanks to all who were there, and thanks to everyone who was there in spirit; especially Tammy for her inspiration and support. We need to keep vigilant, and there is talk of another march next year. Hope we can at least double the total next year!

    Tammy,
I first heard of you when you were guest hosting another show (Laura Ingraham) in the middle of last year. I have since enjoyed you on subsequent guest appearences, I read “The Death Right and Wrong” and have just joined your army. For the past few days I have been catching up on the podcasts and YOU ROCK!
I an independent conservative, a Christian, and an unabashed defender of the Constitution and the history of this country. I come from a family of cops and military service members. I have been worried about the direction of this country for some time. The past two and a half years have almost made me despair.
In the past few months I have regained my faith in our country. I see more and more people that I would not agree with on most things standing up with people like myself for principle and the idea that people of good conscience can disagree on details but are united on the fundamentals of freedom. Freedom of speech, thought, actions and association, coupled with the responsibility to not harm or infringe on the rights of others.

Hi Tammy and all. I have to make a correction to my earlier post above regarding the map, etc., regarding the estimated number in attendance at the 9-12 march on Washington. I have to do this because I personally am pretty pis*ed at the Huffington Post’s outright lie on the numbers in attendance. Also, the picture that was on the Doug Ross Journal web site I used was wrong and was of the Promise Keeper’s gathering in 1997 where the total crowd wrapped in a half moon shape around the Washington Monument. But, I hope my analogy of the crowd size here is more accurate, although the nutroots in the Obama controlled Park Service STILL haven’t released the official aerial views and have put out erroneous official crowd numbers. Here is the USA Today Interactive map that will give you an idea of how the crowds are estimated http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2009-01-19-crowd_N.htm. The Park Service states that they estimate crowd numbers in the national mall by using the 2.5′ x 2.5′ rule of space for each person. The crowd extended back 12th St. SW (from what I view on the time elapsed video on YouTube). Looking the interactive USA Today Map, I estimate the crowd ended between the RED Dots of Clinton 93 and LBJ. So my estimate is a little over 1 million. Not too hard for the nutroots to figure out.

    • cmoore324 says:

      RobbieK:

Check out this link to Freedomworks for the official poster photo of the rally. http://www.freedomworks.org/ At the peak of the rally the crowd was standing about 6th to 8th street. There were a lot of people milling around too, not just sitting or standing, as they do at an inaugural. So I think your estimate, along with the organizers’ estimates are pretty accurate, especially since there were a lot of people still coming at the end of the day that couldn’t get to the event, due to the difficulty of getting around because of the crowds.

Does anyone think that while the Obama’s are in Copenhagen they might find a minute
to thank the Dane’s for their efforts in fighting the war on terror and the troops that
have served in Iraq and Afghanistan ? Or is this little vacation just another KISS ASS
    for Chicago ?

  14. Mutnodjmet says:

I am a little upset the natural disaster that is Samoa took a back seat to the man-caused disaster in Copenhagen. instead of dealing with Samoa (an American Territory), Obama flees to Denmark. I submit that Samoa is the new Katrina.

Am I the only one to notice the incredibly hideous outfit MO was wearing when she got off the plane after the flight home from the Olympics fiasco? Now, I mean really MO. What were you thinking?

I’m a 67 year old widower with no female advice or council available for fashion assistance – but even I knew something was amiss! Let me see…Doesn’t it go something like this: 1) Dark colors seem to thin the body, whereas, light shades do the opposite. 2) Checked patterns, particularly large patterns, tend to emphasise the width of the body. I’m pretty sure I’ve got this right.

MO’s outfit was a simple sweater and skirt. The skirt was white with thin black lines forming a square check pattern – sort of like a white chessboard. The sweater was solid black.

Now, envision this outfit in your mind’s eye while applying fashion rules 1 and 2 outlined above. What conclusion is one to draw? I don’t mean to be cruel, but…

    • Carol says:

Darn I missed that one. I didn’t even get a good look at her ooooops presentation outfit, but it appeared to have a mega-sized bow or something in the front, tacky.
I agree that TAMs should have a chat area. There’s so much to discuss! I looked up yahoo groups, and there is a Tammy Bruce group, but it appears to be out-dated. It was started in 2002, but hasn’t had any postings since March 2006.

HT: The American Thinker, Author: C. Edumnd Wright. Great article re: the LOSER in chief and the Olympic fiasco. In part: “Of course Barack and Michelle Obama failed in Copenhagen. Their strategy could not possibly succeed. In their academic arrogance, they thought they could sell a product they clearly do not believe in (the United States) and moreover, they could do so by stressing the benefits to the seller (Chicago) and not the buyer (the IOC). And to top it off, they committed the faux pas of talking too much about the sales force (themselves) and not about the product or the buyer.

Gee, what could possibly go wrong?”

The whole article is a great read and spot on.

  19. CO2aintpoison says:

Listening to weekend round up. At 37 minutes in during the musical interlude Tammy was playing some of the Once’s comments on Rio getting the Olympics underneath the music.

It struck me that other than the 25 or so minutes he “gave” to General McChrystal about the war; I picture him not engaged in that critical conversation, but rather speculating on how he can still get some of the Olympica action.

Say, what could he trade (well, at least ‘promise’) to South America in exchange for some sort of large American involvement in the games. Even though I believe he will be a one-termer (at most); he will not g0 quietly. It is unnerving to consider what he may be planning right now (other than crapping on our country and destroying it to boot) – so that he will NEVER be forgotten. Chilling, really.

Mark Levin also turned the light on the monster Anita Dunn Friday in a discussion with Andy McCarthy. He couldn’t do the video since he’s strictly AM – but he has 6 or 7 million listeners, so it helps…every listener on each of these venues helps to continue to wake up and continue to piss off the sleeping giant. We have to stay vigilent thru ’10 and ’12 and it appears the statists have a never-ending supply of scheisterisms they’re pulling, curious at best, downright evil at worst, people of interest currently in power. The light must be continue to be shown by all patriots with a microphone! Thanks for all you do Tammy!
