The Tea Party Convention in Nashville started to today with registration, a kick-off speaker and various evening events. As you know a few media outlets are covering the proceedings, including Fox News and Pajamas Media.
If you are attending the convention, please let us know. We’d love to get updates from you for the other Tammy Blog and Radio listeners and readers, and for the whole Tammy Army as well, of course 🙂
In the meantime and starting today, PJTV is live-streaming events. They do expect to complete a free registration at their site in order to view their coverage.
The TAM Chat Room: Sarah Palin’s speech is scheduled for 8pm CT (9pm ET) and will be carried live by Fox and PJTV. Please make plans to join myself and your other Independent Conservative compatriots in the TAM Chatroom for her speech. While the TAM Chatroom is normally an exclusive media perk for TAMs only, for Palin’s speech we will place it here on the front page and open it up for everyone here on Tammy Blog.

Here is some local news coverage here in Nashville Thursday night. They tried to make it into some big scandal and misrepresented why Marsha Blackburn pulled out. The funny part is when they cut to a juvenile and pathetic Democrat anti-tea party at a bar.

You have to register but I think it is free for the live coverage at this Convention , starting at 8:30 am Eastern Time.

This convention is a great idea. Bring together a couple of thousand of the local “leaders” and teach them relevant techniques. Give them an opportunity to network. When they return home each will be the nucleus of an effective local organization and a part of a growing national organization.
Some people are complaining, “Who do these people think they are declaring a National Teaparty Convention?” Who are they? They are individuals who stepped up to the plate and decided to lead.

TEA PARTY NATION CONVENTION A SUCCESS. Let’s hope Sarah can get from Kansas to Nashville OK
