Following up on Chris’ first and excellent post on the current situation in Arizona, here is video of Palin’s appearance Saturday with Governor Jan Brewer. It is good to see these women understand the importance of standing their ground for this whole nation. The left must not succeed in the fascist tactic of bullying and threatening a state of this nation into submission on issues as important as law enforcement, safety and national sovereignty.

I must say, I think supporting Arizona is now as important as kicking the bums out of Washington in November and in 2012.

“Mr. President, do your job! Secure our border!” Who could argue with that? How is this controversial?

“We are all Arizonans now” brings to mind JFK’s “I am a Berliner” speech.

    • IloiloKano says:

It also brings to mind (and is a fitting counterpoint to) the lame Newsweek cover after Obama’s election insisting “We are all Socialists now”, but then I shouldn’t be too hard on them, since the rag is now not long for this world.

We’re all Arizonans now — just like the party is over

    Crisp look,too.

My best cyber buddy @AnneHarpen and her boyfriend are going to Arizona on May 29th. to the Tempe Rally in the stadium. Anne will perform on stage as soon as she secures an electrical acoustical guitar.
I am sending some money down to BUYCOTT Arizona that day.
I love uniting with one of my favorite states.

BRAVO! Gov. Brewer said what is on the hearts and minds of Arizonans, and she is NOT going to buckle under pressure! Just as I feel there is a divine hand in Palin being on the national stage, there was a divine hand as well when God made it possible for Brewer to become our governor.

A couple weeks ago, my SGP/tea party pal, Jennifer, and I had the honor of being asked to appear on a local radio show. I said then and I’m saying it here (probably even repeating it): Arizona will lead this nation. We already are! SB1070 makes it impossible for the Obama administration to dismiss the situation because EVERYONE is focused on it! When Jan Brewer and/or Sarah Palin speak, they knock him down! All he’s been able to do is make a stupid joke about Arizona and provide a limp-(st)ick, unrealistic example (the going out for ice cream incident he pulled out of his ass). His Attorney General has not even read the damn law and now, the talking points they have all had are being deflated! The longer AZ is in the headlines, the more truth will be exposed and the more failures of Obama will be apparent. We are also holding Mexico’s Felipe Calderon accountable for the failure of protecting his people and providing them protection from the drug cartels and human smuggling rings running his country.

What happens in our state primary will be pivotal both at the congressional and Senate levels as well as our gubernatorial race (3 candidates on the GOP side; I think it’s fair to say Brewer will have it – EASILY!). If we get McCain out in the primary, JD will win in November because he’s the ONLY senate candidate who is true to securing the border and enforcing the law – that will be THE issue in Arizona. It already is -and has been for a long time. I think people are finally seeing who McCain really is and his most recent campaign video was a complete flop and joke. Notice who was NOT at the Secure The Border event!

Border security & illegals go far beyond party affiliation. The people of Arizona know that. We have more registered Democrats than Republicans and 42% of our population is of Hispanic descent. With 70% of us approving SB1070, it’s reasonable to say that people of all stripes in Arizona support this bill for the obvious reason: it’s already federal law, we’re tired of seeing our state trespassed upon, our legal citizens left without work or without protection from the very real dangers occurring EVERYDAY at the border.

When AZ Smart Girls had our border clean up the end of April, the border agent told us that illegals come across everyday with Saturday being the only day fewer come through. Our story was carried by Tammy’s show and Michelle Malkin. If you could only see with your own eyes the sea of footprints in the washes, the trash, the clothing left behind, baby bottles, women’s undergarments, medications, etc. then walk directly to the border itself and see just how flimsy it is and all the things illegals have done to make their climb a little easier (like welding crossbars to hoist themselves over in literally 3 seconds). You would come away with a very different perspective. Even if you are already on the right side of this issue, you still have to see the situation for yourself. It is unbelievable.

I’m glad Brewer challenged the boycotters and naysayers to come to Arizona to see it for themselves and to meet Robert Krentz’s widow, children and grandchildren. I bet they don’t have the courage to leave their rhetoric and bias aside long enough to get an education of a lifetime.

Thank you for standing up with us! Hope to see some TAMs from all over the country in AZ this summer!

    May 17th, 2010 (Monday)

As well established fact; the bankrupted city of Los Angeles under the ‘stewardship’ of Anthony Villaraigosa and the politically corrected city council of this leftwing mess of a city has come out for a boycott of Arizona. Of course these same city ‘officials’ cover their own failures and play a political ‘shell game’ of trying to divert their own miserable records by fingering Arizona; a sucessful run state!

The howlers of the extreme far left are ratting on Arizona. If you consider all these screamers and those who are out to attempt to destroy the great state of Arizona, a completed heavy majoriity of them never bothered to read the Arizona ILLEGAL INVADER bill at all. Example: so-called Attorney General; Eric Holder. His mind all ready made up.

I would wager a king’s ransom if Eric Holder was publically around during President Richard Nixon’s administration; he would in the front line to scream his bloody head off when Nixon inferred Charles Manson was deemed “guilty” by Nixon. This when Manson was on trial for the murders of Sharon Tate-Leno and Rosemary Labianca. I am aware ths is ancient history, but I am attempting a point to be made.

    WE ARE TRULY ALL ARIZONIANS!!!

This also was apparent when a recent on-line poll in the Los Angeles Daily News on Friday; May 14th, 2010 would oppose the same city council in Los Angeles call for a boycott of the state of Arizona. The poll final result was 85% opposed to a boycott while 15% approved of the boycott. All this poll conducted even within the city of Los Angeles as the Daily News is an entity within the bankrupted city of Los Angeles!

Hail Arizona and we are with Governor Jan Brewer and former Governor Sarah Palin all the way!!!!!!

  6. Red Barr says:

    Correction to be made;

The previous letter needed a correction of sorts. During the former Richard M. Nixon administration; Nixon himself would be accused of a ‘rush to judgement’ scenario when he proclaimed a soon to be convicted; first degree murderer; crazed Charles Manson was “guilty” during the trial of Charles Manson and his hippie “family”. The left played up on this during the time.

I would wager if Eric Holder was about during that time; he would condemn the same Richard Nixon for much the same reason why Holder himself condemns this much needed Arizona law today.

As a matter of fact; Eric Holder has never bothered to read the Arizona law. Surely a lot easier task to read then the 2000 paged so-called Obamacare healthcare law enacted by a liberal-left congress this past March. Most of the supporters of this healthcare; Obamacare bill NEVER bothered to read this monster of a bill either.

Surely this is a hallmark of this national administration.. A rush-to-judgement scenario. I would also wager this same administration is on borrowed time as the American people are catching on in a heavy majority!

Governor Jan Brewer and Arizona leads the way!!!!

  7. larrygeary says:

Is there any movement to build a security barrier along the border? My preference is for a high wall, an electrified fence, a moat filled with piranhas, and a mine field – as a start.

  8. flaggman says:

Wow! Brewer seems to have undergone a radical transformation since she signed this bill, into a steel-spined hero. A couple of days before she signed, she went on Laura Ingraham’s show, and took a tongue-lashing from Laura when she wouldn’t commit to signing it into law. She sounded like John McCain circa 2006 that day. Now she sounds strong, firm, confident, and, most importantly, completely resistant to the media assault on her state. Palin seems to be building quite a coalition of Grizzly Moms, and it will indeed save the country!

  9. Laura says:

Arizona (my birth state 🙂 is brave enough to finally draw a line in the sand in being the main protector of America. Arizona is the main line of defense.

  10. lanzita says:

Go Girls Go!!!!! Beautiful…These two courageous Ladies don’t need a stupid telepromter like “objoker” to say the true about this country. Imagine adding Chris Christie to this team? You will see “objoker” running like a rat inside a sinking vessel.

  11. jmucciola says:

I am really likin’ Sarah more and more!! Bravo Sarah and the great Gov. Brewer!! Makes me proud to see these two strong women take a stand. Make that THREE strong women–because our Tammy takes a backseat to no one!!

  12. Chris says:

I have been very curious as to Palin’s stance on the border issue. She’s been pretty quiet on the issue in the past. I no longer wonder.

  13. Shawmut says:

By now you’ve probably heard that “Aunt Polly Naituni”, White House Aunt-in-Chief, passed the immigration hearing for her illegal status. Gee! Glad she isn’t in Arizona.
When she went to her Boston hearing she was driven in a blacked-window SUV, had an entourage of about four, plus the driver (Think hourly rate with 6 hours minimum).Evidently, her attorneys were from Cleveland, as though a Boston lawyer couldn’t be found.
And she lives free in Boston Public Housing – which a working-homeless veteran could use, but for a security deposit.

    • thierry says:

Auntie dearest was ordered deported twice, yet has still managed to live entirely on the government dime for ten years in southie. She’s also only 57 but has lived in elderly housing for sometime. MA has consistantly seen it’s tax payer base drained, it’s taxes sky rocket and it’s unemployment rise. Because after all it’s not illegal to be illegal in the people’s commonwealth- the more you break the law the more the government will subsidize you with other people’s money.

  14. Joel267 says:

Half the members in my family were born in Arizona, this makes me even more proud of them! Was planning on visiting a favorite resort in Desert Springs, CA but think I’m going to find one in AZ to visit this year. Thank you Gov Brewer for doing what so many are afraid to; take a stand!

  15. Foreverautumn says:

Is the audio off kilter, or is Gov Brewer talking with a lisp?

    • BeforeGoreKneel says:

Aunty Petunia does point up the weakness of Arizona’s scheme. Which is that Arizona, as is every state, is dependent upon the Federal legal visitor list. What if the bulk are categorized as poor babies? What if they are categorized thusly at the moment of picking the phone to talk to the questioning states?

If you can’t touch this — I suppose we could name it Obama’s Unhammer Time.
