Tammy mentioned Churchill’s cigar being airbrushed out of his mouth. That’s the Orwellian erasure of history. “He who controls the past controls the future. And he who controls the present controls the past.” A few years ago, the Los Angeles County government removed a tiny Cross from the County Seal. The Cross was a tribute to the history of Los Angeles, which was founded by Spanish missionaries (the original name was El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles del Río de Porciúncula, or The Town of Our Lady the Queen of the Angels on the Porciúncula River). The ACLU objected, and that bit of history got erased because it reminds us of our religious heritage. The Seal now has a picture of a building that I think is supposed to be a mission, but there’s no trace of religion to it; it looks sort of like a Taco Bell. Next step will be to change the county name from “Los Angeles” to something secular.
Yeah…they’ll erase the Jews next; then the Christians then…whomever isn’t a cave-dwelling-murder-monkey-freak from hell. Shoot…(ooops is that a threat) then the freaks will be all that is left and I guess none of this will matter.
