Those were great cards. You have very creative listeners. Happy B-day! Have a HUGE martini or two…or three. I recommend the best drink in West Hollywood, which is the vodka gimlet at the Ivy. YOU know the place, I’m sure. The drink packs a wallop, and then some. It’s a winner! If you are still coherent after that, it’s just a short walk across the street to the Abbey, a great place to people-watch, and/or meet good looking, fun, and sometimes interesting people, who are most likely inebriated as well.
And here I thought I was the only person in L.A. who still ordered those since the late great Charles Nelson Reilly.
I think I’m too old and infirmed for The Abbey crowd. Last time I was there, I felt like going Godzilla on the entire place …leaving tables and chairs in my wake.
So I just stick to Musso and Frank now.
