Rachael will also have a new post about what to expect and what all existing users will need to do, TAMs and regular commenters. Stay tuned…

**Update 130pm PT Monday: Things are moving along, The pros are targeting tonight for launch. When that happens I will have a specific post alerting you to any updates you’ll need to undertake for your own profile if you are existing TAM or commenter. You will also all receive an email at the address you used to register with details. More when I have it. You should notice nothing out of the ordinary today, but tonight when we are doing specific things it may be a little up and down, but all will be good. Thanks again everyone.

**Update 9pm PT Sunday: Well, after working vigilantly all day, we feel we would like one more day to be absolutely, completely comfortable with the launch results. There are a couple of tiny things I’d like fixed re forms, how you sign in, where you sign in etc, so we will do the launch of the new subscriber system tomorrow, Monday later in the evening. So nothing has changed. Starting tomorrow night, however, all who have been waiting to sign up as TAMs will be able to do so 🙂 Thanks for your patience.

**Update 2pm PT Sunday–The changeover to the new subscription service is moving along swimmingly, and I do have an update for you. Originally, I thought we would be able to flow every piece of information associated with your TAM or Commenter account into the new system, but the new system needs to assign you a *new password.* So, everyone registered at Tammy Blog, paid subscribers and free commenters, will all receive an email later this evening with your new password. You can then go into your account as usual and change it back or to something completely new. This will not happen until tonight, but I wanted to give you a heads up about the email and that change so you will know to look for it once I alert you here that we’ve launched. As soon as I know we’re going live, I’ll post that here as well. Reminder: your technical contact for the migration is Rachael at rachael -@- tammybruce.com, she is also on Twitter at @bachael

**Update 4pm PT–About ten TAMs have received an email that was generated during a test moment. This email, from the blog or me “admin”, says “Thanks for the purchase…” IGNORE that email, nothing has been purchased and this was a form that was sent by mistake. I will also be sending an email directly to those affected. This is a good example of what might happen through today and early tomorrow. If you do get an email from me, admin, or the site, you can post so here or email me, but you can ignore it. All is well 🙂 Thanks**

UPDATE #1: Okay I already have to update you, as I got a little ahead of the experts–most of the work today will be off line, the big fireworks of launching happens tomorrow, Sunday late afternoon 🙂

Hi everyone, I have exciting news about a site upgrade. It’s so exciting I thought it best to put it into a podcast. So please do listen to this public podcast about the major event of our switching to a new subscriber management service.

We’re doing this for a variety of reasons, including the fact that we have become just too big for the old system. Some of the TAMs have experienced issues associated with that and this migration will make the subscription, renewal and general TAM experience more smooth and happy!

This is being posted at about 1225pm PT. The migration itself will happen this afternoon. We do not expect any issues, but there could be some disruption considering the nation of what we’re doing. Nothing will change regarding your account–your handle, password, all info will be the same, but the interface will look a little different. In the event you do experience glitches, or can’t access something, or your membership is acting weird, etc., please know there’s a bunch of pros working on the site. As soon as we believe everything is done and working smoothly I will post an update here making that announcement. At the point we have a new TAM Team member assigned to this transition, her name is Rachael. If you do have a membership issue that is from before, or associated with the change, she is the one to email at rachael -@- tammybruce.com.

I will update this point if there is something significant to tell you, but we expect this to be finished today. Thanks again for your support and patience. This new change will be well worth it 🙂
