If anyone hasn’t heard of the book Unbroken, by Laura Hillenbrand, I highly recommend it. It is a most astounding story of survival by Louie Zamperini, a veteran of WWII.
What I wanted to tell everyone is that Louie Zamperini’s 96th birthday is today… and he still does speaking engagements, etc… Amazing human being and I wish I could meet him in person. Lucky for anyone who lives in Southern California. I got the below information by email and keeping my fingers crossed he gets to Atlanta..

Do the 3rd hour when it’s good for you Tammy. The thing I love about the show is the 2 hour live show is more news based but the 3rd hour is more TAM based. The 3rd hour tends to be looser and more intimate. We usually get great TAMness in the 3rd hour.
Note to new TAMs. Tammy’s show is an exciting experiment in new media. Unlike most hosts, Tammy is a activist not just some feminist shock jock- in joke. Many of the TAMS are also activists and not just listeners. This may not always be like other shows but you’ll find it to be above and beyond what you’re used to. And you’ll find that Tammy gives her all and she’s the real thing.
Regarding “Thundersnow”. This was the second snow storm this winter here in NJ to have thunder but check this out- we’ve also had LIGHTNING. God is angry at Chris Christie for slamming our Sarah I think.
