UPDATE 2/11: Well, I’m in DC. The flight went well but upon landing found the airline was missing my Tammy Radio equipment case. I decided to not flip out and chilled, knowing that there was nothing I could do about it. Thank goodness I kept the main laptop with my regular luggage but was so proud of myself for getting a new hard case for the new equipment we got for this adventure. The solution next time will be to ship the equipment ahead of time. Just a few hour ago I learned, thank goodness, they found the case…wait for it…in Los Angeles. It never left town. LOL! So they’re sending it out and I’m hoping to have it here in the morning. If not, I still can go live with Tammy Radio I’ll just have to bum a microphone off someone on radio row. I’ll do my best, it won’t sound fabulous but at least I’ll be on live. After all, look what happens when the world thinks I’m not looking! When I was in the air Egypt goes even crazier and Arizona sues the Feds.

Just a brief note about the plans for the next few days. I’m off to the airport soon and will be in flight during show time, so Tammy Radio will be a Best Of, but it will be fresh programming in part for the live show. We will be re-playing the “3rd Hour” from Tuesday (a growing favorite among the TAMs) which is normally exclusive for subscribers as well as a re-play of my interview earlier in the week with BigFurHat of IOwnTheWorld.
My intention is to broadcast live from CPAC tomorrow, but I’ve learned to sort of wing in when on the road, so when I get into DC I’ll tweet and blog and often as possible with updates. Due to my travel schedule back to Los Angeles, and commitments at CPAC, there will be no “Weekend Update” and the “Palin Report” will post on Monday. I’ll make up for missing the Weekend Update with a Special Report at some point during the week 🙂

Went to CPAC today, I ran into Santorum in the exhibit hall on my way to get Rumsfeld to sign my book. Santorum was holding court with his own staff members. My observation is that he is into himself. He kept looking around to see if people recognized him. As soon as we had eye contact, I turned my head away. He was not approachable. CPAC students like to take photos and get signatures of politicians. No one was approaching him. While in line for the book signing, sophmore college students stated that Santorum is an a*hole and unfriendly. They did not know why he was there, and wondered if he was running for president. The straw poll desk is manned by Romney people. The reason I assume this is because last year, the woman who took my ballot reminded me what time Romney was speaking. I thought it was odd that of all the speakers, she encouraged I listen to him. My prediction is Ron Paul will win the straw poll. Many supporters are here, and he will be here in person with Rand for a meet session. I think that will be the best outcome for Palin, because the press will not report the results as a serious prediction of 2012.
I’ve heard Paul has many supporters there; in fact, many were calling Cheney war criminal.

If Tammy does not get her radio equipment back from the airlines in time for the show, I think the TAMS need to bring a class action lawsuit against the airlines for causing “cruel and unusual punishment at loss of CPAC show.” 🙂

Have you gotten to meet/interview that most fabulous, amazing, greatest warrior princess and champion of liberty, the great patriot, Pamela Geller? It would be great if you could interview her on your show! She’s the most kick ass conservative out there and her very content rich blog, Atlasshrugs, along with her work with Robert Spencer (with whom she co-authored, “The Post American Presidency” and created Stop the Izalamization Of America) has brought much to light about Islam and their war on the west, overt and covert.
Hope you get to meet her. I’ve seen her speak several times. She’s excellent! And I love the no-nonsense, New York gal approach she has. She’s a true gem and a most solid and reliable conservative!
