WOW Jane Russell lived a long time. That generation of actors are leaving us very soon. Of course they will live on in film.
The conservative girls are telling the conservative boys to stop the Palin bashing like the liberals spew? They are liberals, girls.
Also Jane Russell was a born again Christian before it was popular she also believed we should teach the bible in schools, rest in peace Jane.

She was a vocal supporter of the Iraq war from its start in 2003, a vocal opponent of abortion, even in cases of rape or incest, a tireless fighter to “get the Bible back in schools.” She despised the Clinton administration and was a fan of former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and conservative commentator Ann Coulter.
And in 2003, she described herself as “a teetotal, mean-spirited, right-wing, narrow-minded, conservative Christian bigot,” variations of which she frequently used.”
That quote from the third paragraph of your comment was from Miss Russell’s speech at CPAC in 2003. It was so cool that Big Hollywood actually had a YouTube snippet of her speech.

She’s one of my heroines…a strong, conservative woman. Maybe a momma grizzly?
Never knew it but during her hay days in movies, Jane started the “Hollywood Christian Group” (and had weekly Bible studies in her home) as well as a gospel group that included Rhonda Flemming, no less. 🙂 Here’s a clip:
