Tonight’s moon will be ginormous and look close enough to Earth to touch. The next time it will look like this will be in 2029, so make a point to take a glance, I think it’ll be worth it 🙂 The best time to look? When it’s at the horizon.

Thanks Tammy for the reminder about the Supermoon.
M-O-O-N spells moon. Thanks for the literal “headsup” Tammy 🙂
Speaking of “The Moon”, how about a reminder for those that weren’t born yet and didn’t see, (unlike me with my own eyes watching a 14″ b&w tv) the realtime, live broadcast of that Epic, Historic Night and
the God-Given Greatness of our American Civilization:

Citizens wept and cheered with Joy and Pride that night, I among them.
It was AWESOME!!!
Tammy mentioned(in the Weekend Update after the audio clip) the NASA smarty pants rocket-scientist eggheads don’t know why the Moon looks larger at the horizon.
There are several theories(believe it or not):

Thanks for the video clip…how informative. Let’s see, March 28, 1983, I think that was the day I passed out in Microbiology class, later diagnosed as mononucleosis. Now I know it was really the gravitational force of the man in the moon on my brain. Who says nothing exceptional happened on that date.
