I always watch you on O’Reilly. He sometimes desperately needs a voice of common sense!

If Obama’s bracketing issues comes up, it might be helpful to address the fact that Japan has a high context culture. The comments Obama made, while bracketing, sounded reasonable, but the fact that he made the comments during his recreation time is flippant. If it seems a little of to Americans then you can bet the Japanese noticed the affront .
Being a Harvard man, Obama must have known about Japan’s high context culture. It will be hard for him to plead ignorant, and even if he was ignorant then where was his staff?

Great job Tammy! You didn’t let Bill cut you off, even though he tried. I think he’s starting to respect you more. And you deserve it.

Great job Tammy, I like that you didn’t let BOR interrupt your response during the 1st ‘talkback’ spot. But your final comment about Palin OWNING the Energy Issue was just spot on, that’s her strength, and you had the presence of mind to remind everyone watching. Well done!

  8. cjp2361 says:

Tammy – Superb job on BOR & you looked fantastic! Funny how BOR chose to look at the ‘gotcha’ results of a poll with regard to Sarah Palin. If Palin was the topic, why not discuss her recent substantive and brilliant facebook post entitled, “The $4-Per-Gallon President”? Now THAT would be a conversation to have – especially in light of BOR’s segment questioning Urkel’s ‘dithering’. But sadly, no – instead he chooses to compare the results of one poll to a previous poll. Really?? Really??

Thank goodness you are such a great champion and clever enough to turn the frivolity of poll data into bringing to the fore Palin’s energy dominance! Love it!

I’m hoping my fellow TAMs know CPR since I’m holding my breath while waiting for BOR to do a segment on falling poll data with regard to the Ricky Sanitation Pad, the Mittens, the Fig Newton, the T-Paw, etc. Surely with all those names I mentioned it’ll happen soon, right? Or is that reserved only for a certain lady who happens to tell BOR to shut up so she can finish her thought? O’Reilly’s panties must really be in an uproar considering he’s now done TWO segments in a week’s time where he’s criticizing her! Just sayin’…

I will watch BOR now on the 11:00 PM taping. He is trying to slam her again. Tammy set him straight.

  10. wilde1 says:

As soon as BOR said falling poll numbers for Palin on top of his show, I knew he was still ticked off that Palin set him straight about interrupting. My local ABC radio affiliate kept announcing at top of the hour that both Obama and Palin’s numbers are dropping. They did not say Mittens, Huckabee or anyone else. I guess they are predicting Palin as the GOP nominee. Tammy made good points about once Palin is running, it is a different ballgame. I want to see Governor Palin in a debate with at least 6 other GOP candidates. It will be enjoyable, and please pass the popcorn.

O’Reilly reminds me of a professor who pretends he wants to hear what the students say but really just wants to hear himself talk. Thanks for the clip, it reminds me of why I would rather listen to Tammy than watch political tv talk shows.

  12. Brontefan says:

And once again, Tammy, you are the common sense voice and looked terrific on camera! O’Reilly’s condescending tone about Palin always comes across and of course, he is non-partisan. Then, how come he always comes to the defense of “genius” Obama, his fellow grad from Harvard? Palin doesn’t have to fit into someone else’s form or ideal. She is fantastic as she is and the fact that they are this terrified of her–tells volumes.
