Actually, tonight it’s about 35 minutes which is one of the reasons I need to change the name of this update. I’d prefer to have this podcast be like the Palin Report, where it’s length is determined by th enews as well as my inclinations 🙂 So tonight is on eof those nights, and while I toy with the title “The After Show” and leaning more toward the name “As I Was Saying…” for this late evening podcast. More suggestions and thoughts would be welcomed 🙂

Not that you’re going to see this suggestion, Tammy BUT maybe it’ll be passed on to you somehow, anyway…
How about, ‘Night Click’ for the 3d Hour? Sighted people DO have a disadvantage at night and you’re using sound to help us–and yourself–navigate the overnight news. PLUS it’s a ‘new media’ show. What better name for something people have to use computers (yes even in their phones or mobile devices) to access?
By the way I never turn my nose up at new mobility options but remember blind folks have alreadybeen doing everything you talked about in the podcast for years–and doing them well.

Tammy, I laughed when you suggested calling the night podcast “Still Talking”. That’s funny.
Still Talking does sound good… the Irish and Italian bend toward continual expulsion of air past the voicebox may as well be noted.
Hey Agg, Some of us don’t have much trouble at night, but then I used to work nights doing patrols in the woods for the better part of a year, and then working as an officer on a night shift for almost 5. I actually have issues with things being too bright sometimes.

That’s what it is, usually from 3pm – 11pm. I used to work the swing shift a lot in the Air Force, on the flight line.

If a story broke *After the day’s deadline, a newspaper might choose to print an “Extra” edition on top of their regular edition.
Wasn’t 1 reason why there was a third hour started to, continue other points that time didn’t allow to be covered as well as Getting an end of the day event perspective?
Yes, I toyed with the “After Show” idea but then it placed that in relationship with the daily live show. I’m wanting more of a stand alone podcast that doesn;t seem even time-sensitive to the other broadcast. I’ve just posted the “Daily TAM Briefing” which I think hits the mark. Hop you like it 🙂
