**Note: TAM Chat will be open for the O’Reilly Factor hour!**

It’s for the “Culture Warrior Segment.” Last time I did that it was with Alan Colmes so it should be fun 😉 8pm ET, Fox News of course. I hope you can tune in 🙂

UPDATE: Just learned it will be with Gretchen Carlson in Phoeniz and Bill hosting out of NY.

UPDATE 2: Thanks to TAM RuBegonia for the video!

i LOVE to see tammy on the TV but i don’t like the topics the producers choose for her to talk about..i think there’s lots more important things tammy could analyze for them and really make a bigger difference in the world…but hey..somethin is better than nothin..right? 🙂

  4. Well done! I agree that the schools have no business spanking the kids. Once I received a paddling from a teacher. It was in Arkansas that it happened, when I was about 11 or so. The reason was because I was asked about something on the blackboard. It was very far away and no one knew I needed glasses. I had no idea that I should have glasses, but no way to answer the question either. It had a temporary psychological scarring that left me fearful about speaking up. Luckily we left Arkansas and in a couple of years it was finally discovered that I needed glasses. I have no idea how I coped until then. I think blackboards were much closer in California, but I still couldn’t really see smaller writing.

      Griz,

I HATE that you were unjustly treated but, as the legal saying goes, “hard cases make bad law” (see Wikipedia article). You don’t through out something reasonable because in limited cases it is abused. I agree there should be safeguards in place – firm limits, witnesses, etc. Lots of things can be done to make the situation fair.

Our son was in Kg for babysitting (he was a behavioral nightmare at the time; it was so I could homeschool the OTHER 3 and care for newborn before a major move where were out of all our books for 2 months — we ARE homeschoolers). He was paddled for intentionally mutilating his clothing with scissors. His behavior was remarkably improved for the rest of the time he was there. He still remembers it – and why he was paddled (PS: agrees he deserved it).

      Peace & Blessings, friend 🙂

BTW, I think a book/series/movie based on making a *GAME* out of kids killing kids is APPALLING. I plan to boycott any sponsor.

  5. Runnyonempty says:

Yup, these books are all the rage in the 12-16 y/o range…I knew the kids competed for food in the story-line but didn’t know they killed each other…I’m so glad I’m no longer parenting a child/teen–I would not be too pleased if my young child was accessing this type of story.
    PS–Looking good Tammy!

  6. imNOTanINDIAN says:

tammy you’re looking good as always! you should sit in on “the five”… : )

you going to tampa for the convention?

can’t wait for the tam briefing tonight!

  7. Karan says:

Tammy: You looked great. I was talking to my daughter on the cell phone when I saw that you were on O’Reilly; I quickly told her I had to hang up and listen to what you had to say. She understood completely….Great Job. I did not know about this crazy movie.

  8. Kimj7157 says:

The tea and yoga must really agree with you. 🙂

  9. kwilder says:

Tammy the movie critic! Hey… Any thoughts on ‘Mirror Mirror’? I was planning on seeing it this weekend. 😉
Just kidding… I agree Tammy’s ample talents were not brought to bear in this segment, but it’s always a treat to see her on tv. Looking good, Tammy.

Let me think. Was it worth us giving up an hour of live Tammy on the radio yesterday to feed BOR’s ego for a few minutes? I am in a Hunger Games mode of mind, and would just like to throw a spear at him @#$#@%$##!
Ultimately, I agree with the other TAMS, Tammy did a great job and looked great….even managed to not use her Lauren Bacall voice. Since Tammy isn’t into using the webcam, it was also nice seeing her. And thanks again Ru for bringing us the video.

  11. HonestJohn says:

Tammy, you look terrific when you’re ailing! Not sure what to make of that. Topics were light-weight and really beneath your thought level, but it was great to hear Bill Bloviate, not.

  12. _CarrieP says:

I have to share what an incredible day yesterday was for me….

Tammy read the comment I posted about the Boy Scouts ON…THE…AIR!!! A comment from me – little ol’ me. I’m just a Mom from Maryland for heaven’s sake! Please call EMS and have them bring those shock paddles!

As if THAT wasn’t enough to make my day, let alone my YEAR, I got to watch Tammy on BOR last night. (Tammy, you looked & sounded great – as usual!)

Wow, what a truly TAM-tastic day!

    Multiple issues;
O’Reilly is a boor and a bore and Tammy deserves better treatment and better topics.
OTOH, I am glad the Fox freeze out was reprieved.
My 15 yo freshmen was just assigned Hunger Games for school and we are seeing it this weekend. I’ll have a better opinion then.
I signed the permission form for his coaches to paddle. I don’t expect it to ever happen to him though since he is a good kid and I did spank him when younger.
Tammy looked great and hid her sick voice very well. Too bad Bill interrupts so much.

  14. Shortall says:

Tammy, you were great, …. of course the 8pmer cut you off a bit.

  15. Shortall says:

actually, for me this wasn`t a no brainer, I haven`t seen the movie, nor did I know about the books, but your insight is very valuable, as with alot of things its easy to get confused from all the bullcrap from self appointed masterminds.
