Tammy was her usual excellent self. Tone was very good, analytical and not demonizing. Like the red hair too. Her opponent was in controlled attack mode, but I think he was just repeating the talking points that he was given.

With regard to TPoints, it seems like the 2 Parties have coordinated an attack on Ted Cruz/Tea Party. Sunday, I turned on the TV with Obama speaking and he had a dig at Cruz. I didn’t listen to Republican response but I assume that they didn’t attack Cruz there. However, Rep. Peter King was then on FNC right after noon and he was horrible in his attack on Tea Party and Cruz. Also, last Thursday, McConnell’s former deputy chief of staff published an op-ed saying that tax reform was the holy grail here and not anything to do to Ocare. The op-ed is written to both sound reasonable and appeal to conservatives, but it is deflection and Rovian talking points fantasy.

“…As someone who has dedicated his life to advancing Republican economic philosophy, it would be a once-in-a-generation accomplishment to secure an agreement to fundamentally change the tax code in a revenue-neutral way. If done correctly, changing the tax code could raise the standard of living, reduce dependence on government programs and shrink the size of the debt; it could convert the recipients of transfer payments into taxpayers. A tax code stripped of its exotic sounding and demagogic provisions would also render subsequent tax increases more difficult to achieve, disarming Democrats in future negotiations….”

Going off topic, but I just saw this…

Okay, you’ve heard Obammy promised $30,000 of taxpayer money to the people who make the best I-Love-Obammycare video.

I’m going to go out on a limb as assume this video (which seems to be going viral) is not going to take that prize money.

Well done, Tammy.. I like to think that the R’s should take hold of whatever squawking ensues and press for A Budget instead of these constant emergency CR’s. AllThumbs up for you, Tammy.

Thanks everyone! And a special thanks to Ru for capturing and Shifra for posting 🙂 Yeah, I thought this trip needed a little hair re-do, so a red wash happened. Glad you like it 🙂

Nicely done, Tammy. And the hair—Ooo La La!

I wonder how your debate opponent, Chris Kofinis, feels about his former mentor, Sen Joe Manchin, opposing Obamacare and supporting the delay in its implementation.

Great to see you on Fox and excellent commentary as always. Chris appeared to be frustrated and lost just like all liberals.

  9. Mulder says:

The liberal, as always, stuck to his ‘blame Republicans line’. Surprised he didn’t mention Bush.
