trumpriebus

This makes sense. As I’ve mentioned on Tammy Radio, universally people have said that Priebus did a great deal to help the Trump victory, and was loyal. We also need people in certain positions, like CoS, who know the players and how the process works. That’s Priebus. It’s also good Bannon has a close, important role to make sure all interests are balanced. I think Mr. Trump has threaded the needle properly here in order to get things done and govern well. I’m curious to see your thoughts on this 🙂

President-elect Donald Trump will appoint Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus as his chief of staff, two sources with knowledge of the decision told Fox News Sunday.

Priebus was one of Trump’s most loyal lieutenants during the real estate mogul’s up-and-down campaign that resulted in many Republicans, particularly lawmakers seeking reelection, to distance themselves from Trump.

Trump praised Preibus’ efforts in his victory speech after his upset win over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

Priebus was thought to be one of two finalists for the chief of staff post, along with Trump campaign Chief Executive Officer Steve Bannon, the executive chairman of Breitbart News.

Bannon is expected to be named senior counselor to the president, the sources told Fox News.

Priebus, an attorney, is a former RNC general counsel and chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party. He was elected RNC chairman in 2011.

Wow, we really dodged a bullet last week. Hillary’s peeps were such conniving thugs, it makes me sick to my stomach that they might have been at the center of power.

And yes, a good choice with Priebus. And Trump will make many more good choices.

I am very pleased with the choice of Priebus… I don’t know enough about Bannon except that the Left is apoplectic about him, so he must be good.

3 possible Press Secretary suggestions: Laura Ingraham, Kelly Ann, and–has anyone thought of this?–Greta van Susteren. She might be phenomenal as the PS.

Reince Priebus made a favorable impression on me at CPAC. My perceptions were turned upside down and I encountered a newfound respect for him. He will make an excellent Chief of Staff.

I think solid selections. I like that Reince has not held elective office. While I was leery of Bannon joining Trump’s campaign team, I was impressed that he stayed behind the scenes. You didn’t hear nor see anything from him during the campaign. Rare of anyone in Washington. Did a quick Web search on Bannon and boy, twitter comments popped up. Most saying, White Nationalist, and good old helpful Evan McMullin calling him a, White Supremacist Darling. Gosh, I love it when our side unites (sarc). Anyway the press is going to go after Bannon. It’s good that he’s demonstrated that he can be non-public.

Mr. Trumps selection of Priebus & Gannon seems to be a good balance . What really matters in all the WH & Cabinet appointments is not what is pleasing to the Media & the D.C. Elites but rather that Mr Trump succeeds in accomplishing the agenda that is best for the American people & our Military ! Let’s not forget we’ve still got two wars going that need to END !!

There are many people who are saying that Trump has sold out. I, for one, think that Priebus and Bannon were a good choice. I think it is a good balance. I believe that Priebus will continue to be loyal to Trump, at his core he believes in conservative principles (even though he has not always made good choices in the past). He stayed neutral during the primaries, not trying to undermine any candidates and once Trump secured the nomination Priebus was 110% in. I don’t think without the support and hard work of Priebus, Bannon and Kelly Anne Conway that Trump could have won. Hard working loyal soldiers deserve the chance to show us what they got.

I’m fine with Reince, and I’m not surprised, I just think its kind of funny since it’s exactly what we were told Trump wouldn’t do and why we needed to get behind him.
