Reflections on the Carr vs. Alexander Tennessee Race
by Rob_W on August 11, 2014**Bumped Up From TAM Wire. Posted By Rob_W** While the election results were heartbreaking, there is much to be encouraged, and yes, even energized about. We did not win, but we are winning. Senator Lamar Alexander did not run away with this election, as most predicted he would. He was forced to buy the election, spending $7 million. He resorted to last minute robo-calls in which he falsely claimed his vote for Senate Bill 744 was a vote against amnesty. In spite of all of this, he could only capture 49.7% of the vote. The award for the tackiest campaign commercial goes to Mike Huckabee, who had nerve to lecture Tennesseans on being loyal to Alexander and threaten us by...

Guest Blog: The bin Laden Mission & Geronimo–An American Indian Perspective
by Tammy on May 6, 2011When the news broke about the bin Laden raid and I heard the code for the mission and enemy was “Geronimo” my initial reaction was shock. You all know my background and core of my work–which includes exposing the liberal and government effort to oppress, suppress and control the power of the individual through such tactics as political correctness and Thought Policing. While the use of political correctness in itself is dangerous liberal trope designed to silence you, it’s important we not dismiss legitimate concerns because of attempts by the left to manipulate our decency for their depraved benefit. The legitimate point here is the assignment of the name of a revered American Indian to the world’s most wanted terrorist...

Reflections From A Free Spirit in The Wild Southwest
by Artgal on April 5, 2011A free spirit. That is how my mother always describes me; therefore, it is only fitting I would live in a state that is the embodiment of the free spirit in every possible way. Apparently, I am in good company in The Old Pueblo and as news unfolds in Arizona (as expected), it will be my pleasure to introduce to you those I am honored to stand with on the frontlines in The New American Revolution. Arizona became a state on Valentine’s Day in 1912 after many tumultuous years surrounded by war and changing territorial claims. For three hundred years, Arizona was claimed by the Spanish who, in fact, named some of the earliest, most prominent regions – like Tucson. After Mexico declared its independence from Spain in...

Gov. Christie: A Positive Note in a Sea of Dysfunction
by Maynard on September 12, 2010A meandering rant by Maynard Like Tammy, I’ve got personal health insurance through Anthem. I pay the premium out of my own pocket. My policy is there to protect me from disaster. I’ve never had a disaster (partly by grace of God and partly because I try to stay out of trouble), so I’ve never met my deductible. All of my routine medical stuff is, like my premium, paid for out of my own pocket. I guess that makes me a good citizen and/or a good risk. So here’s the thanks I, and people like me, get. On October 1, my premium jumps by 19%. Anthem sent me a nice letter explaining why this is necessary. They cite several reasons;...

A New Contract with America?
by Maynard on September 4, 2010A post by Maynard Aspiring Republicans introduced the Contract with America to the public six weeks before the 1994 elections. It was a specific list of legislative reforms the Republicans promised to undertake if they were given the power to do so. There’s speculation about how important the Contract was to the subsequent Republican victories, but it certainly played a part. The Republicans followed up with a pretty fair track record of pushing the promised legislation as much as was possible. Some of the reforms died in the legislative process (e.g., the balanced budget amendment failed in the Senate by 2 votes) or in the courts (e.g., the Supreme Court struck down the line item veto). Some reforms went through...

Michigan Fake Tea Party Loses Ballot Spot
by Pat_S on September 3, 2010A post by Pat As elsewhere, the Democrats in Michigan tried to pull a fast one by organizing a bogus political party hijacking the Tea Party identity. They were dumped off the ballot by the Michigan Supreme Court in a 5-2 vote. In July, a 2-2 vote on the Board of Canvassers allowed “The Tea Party” to appear on the ballot. The bogus group, organized and populated by Democrats, held their nominating convention in July. An attorney for “The Tea Party” said the convention was attended by 10-15 people who nominated 23 candidates. Most of the candidates are running in districts where incumbent Democrats are in close races. The 60,000 petition signatures to place the party on the ballot were...

Sharron Angle: A Test of the Tea Party
by Maynard on July 18, 2010A post by Maynard Sharron Angle is the Republican challenger to Nevada senator and majority leader Harry Reid. In the primary election, she beat out two better-known and better-funded Republicans. With so many Americans disillusioned with both parties, the Nevada race has become an interesting one. Unlike other contests which pit party stooges against each other, in this case there is a true contrast. So who is Sharron Angle? This WSJ article is worth reading. The Democrats try to dismiss her with the usual magic bullets. She’s extreme, she’s off the map, she’s a loon. They don’t want voters to seriously consider the possibility that Angle is capable of representing the state. Liberal groups and Mr. Reid are gleeful that...

Today’s Unruly Peasant Report
by Tammy on July 13, 2010Many of you have asked what happens in between the live show and the Special Exclusive Super-Duper 3rd Hour of Tammy Radio that makes me even more unruly. To answer I have decided to post linkage directing you to the things that cause Tammy Unruliness as I prepare for the 3rd Hour. I will likely discuss these items as well, but you never really know. If you are not yet a subscriber, aka a Tammy Army Member (TAM), please do join! After all, are you really prepared to miss a third of the show each day? 😉 Republicans propose cutting Obama budget. By TWO PERCENT NAACP passes resolution on racism in tea party Allen West responds to the ridiculous shenanigans...

Video: Tea Party Campaign of Japan
by Tammy on May 31, 2010Woo hoo! Brought to us by Nativevoice in Comments, here’s a Citizen Reporter bringing us the Japanese version of a Tea Party rally and demonstration. Stay with it–while the rally and such is in Japanese, the Citizen Reporter is a young woman who keeps us filled in, and there are lots of American flags 🙂 I love the part where we’re told demonstrators are only allowed to shout at the Prime Minister once, but when they do it’s good! Look for my favorite sign once they get to their Federal Building: “Crazy Prime Minister–FXXK Off!” LOL! Unfortunately, the video does start automatically, so to stop it just click the pause on the player. Tea Party Campaign of Japan [I removed...

Creepy PA Orwellian Tax Amnesty Ad
by Tammy on May 3, 2010Hey Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, George Orwell is on the phone for you. Talk about the Compulsion to Confess. I especially like the target on the top of a citizen’s home. Americans (via Pennsylvania), meet your Spanking New Hopey Changey Government.

Fun with Teabags!
by Maynard on April 16, 2010A post by Maynard Here’s what I put on my car. I guess it’s obvious enough, but I don’t recall having seen any such thing. Maybe I can start a trend. But, considering the enlightenment of my region, I’m more likely to get torched. This notion made me wonder what else one can do with teabags. Hey, ladies, how about you start wearing teabags as earrings? I Googled and found that there really are earrings with dangling teabag charms. (Here’s one example.) But it seems to me this thing should be done crudely, with a real teabag. A homegrown effort would express the true grassroots nature of the movement. Hmmm, I wonder what would happen if you asked your kids...

“These Are My People–Americans.”
by Tammy on April 16, 2010This is what the Tea Party Revolution is all about. Obama, you keep laughing and underestimating the situation. That will only help us make November the cataclysm it needs to be.

Happy Tea Party Day!
by Tammy on April 15, 2010April 15th. Get taxed. Go to a rally! Oh, it’s also National Buy a Gun Day! Not that any of these things are related. No siree. Here is the “Neutralize a Zombie Crasher” operational suggestion for all of you attending a Tax Day Tea Party. Don’t let the miserable and generally screwed up left ruin your protesting fun (via SondraK). An excellent idea from another Tea Party Patriot which will simultaneously neutralize and expose Crashing Zombies. If Chippy were here, you’d hear his laugh! And if someone smells funny, well, take it from BigFurHat… I love the interwebs!!
