Disco Legend Donna Summer Dies After Battle with Cancer

The star, known as the Queen of Disco, passed away in Florida, according to TMZ. Sources say she had attempted to keep the extent of her illness from fans and was recently trying to finish up her latest album. The news has not yet been confirmed by her spokesperson. Summers, real name LaDonna Gaines, is best know for her string of 70s hits, including I Feel Love, Last Dance and Bad Girls. Coroner’s Report: Andrew Breitbart Died of Heart Failure
by Tammy on April 20, 2012As we expected. I will never stop missing him. Andrew Breitbart, the conservative blogger whose posting of a sexually explicit photo of former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner led to the congressman’s downfall, died of heart failure, the Los Angeles County Coroner said in an autopsy report released Friday. Breitbart, 43, died on March 1. The final cause of death was listed as heart failure, which was caused by Breitbart having an enlarged heart and some heart disease, said Chief Coroner Craig Harvey. Breitbart had a small amount of alcohol in his system, but no prescription or illicit drugs were detected. No significant trauma was present and foul play is not suspected. Kennedy, Mondale Daughters Die, Both 51
by Tammy on September 17, 2011Both Eleanor Mondale and Kara Kennedy were 51 and had battled cancer for years. Eleanor was stricken with brain cancer years ago and died of its affects, while Kara had lung cancer and thought she had beaten it, yet it’s reported the heart attack she suffered was related to the surgery and treatment. I know people die of cancer every day. Not one of us is untouched by it personally, through its affliction on family and/or friends, but it’s still a shock to see so boldly how in the 21st century two women with their lives ahead of them and unique resources still succumb to the scourge.
