I have always admired Mark Wahlberg for exactly what he said. He made a choice. He chose to make something of himself. He did not get caught up in the drugs & violence of prison. He did his time, worked out, strengthened his faith and came out a better man. He made those choices. What a fine role model. Loved him in the Italian Job, very good movie 🙂

Whew! I really like Mark Wahlberg as an actor, and have purposely tried to avoid any political commentary from him because it does affect the movies I choose if an actor is an activist. My respect for him grew when we went through the entire 2008 political season without any commentary from him. This is great! Could we have the pendulum swinging back and be entering into the ago of the Good Role Model? I hope!

Mark Wahlberg is as deep as he is hot! I admire his ability as an entertainer to not fear talking about and walking the walk of being a Christian and a good role model.

This will not be for all tastes, but I thought the film “Boogie Nights” (starring a young Wahlberg and Burt Reynolds) was brilliant, as is everything that P.T. Anderson does.

I can’t believe he’s 40! And it seems just like yesterday when I was listening to him rapping to Good Vibrations! Boy, time passes so quickly.
