Here’s Tammy’s appearance on Fox News Saturday regarding the bickering in Congress over what to do about the VA crisis. All this, of course, while vets continue to die because of a lack of care.

In the meantime, it was announced today the Congress Clowns may have come to some sort of compromise. We don’t know the details yet, nor do we know if they’ll be able to schedule a vote before they run off to their very important 5-week vacation on August 4th. And then, if they do, will anyone even bother to read it?

I agree with Tammy on this. The only thing they should do is pass a bill getting vets what they need to access the provate health care system. Then when they come back from vaycay, in the normal world, we’d be talking about how to dismantle the entire corrupt monstrosity.

Veterans’ Affairs committee chairmen reach deal on legislation

The House and Senate Veterans’ Affairs committee chairmen have reached a deal on legislation that will address problems at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), aides to both sides confirmed to CBS News. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Rep. Jeff Miller, R-Fla., are expected to outline the deal at a news conference Monday.

The two lawmakers released a statement Sunday saying they “made significant progress on legislation to make the VA more accountable and recruit more doctors, nurses and other health care professionals.” An aide added that the agreement will “deal with both the short-term and long-term needs of the VA.” […]

If the plan is approved by the bipartisan group of negotiators from both chambers, it will still have to pass both the House and Senate. Both chambers are expected to adjourn at the end of this week for a five-week recess.

Inasmuch as our rolling catastrophe can be captured in a sound bite, Tammy does so: A leviathan government will necessarily lose sight of the actual people, and making that monster ever-larger will make that fundamental problem greater rather than smaller. Alas, the liberal mindset fundamentally assumes that every problem can be solved by more money and more controls; this ideology serves the narcissistic assumption that I need to be in control of you. Unacknowledged narcissism makes for a powerful armor against reality, so there’s no arguing with it.

Spot on contributing Tammy. I can’t help thinking when the left says “Congress”, they mean obstructionist Republicans when the bill passing is always stopped dead in the Democratic majority Senate.

Tammy you’re always succinct, correct and persuasive in your arguments. That’s why it’s hard to believe that you’re actually getting better (if possible). You looked so comfortable, in control and so awesome in this video. I”ll repeat it again–Fox needs to give you a TV show!!

Yes Tammy I often DVR Fox throughout the day and encounter your
segments with Judith Miller. I wish they wouldn’t cut you off
especially when Judith said “Hillary would make a great president.”

You were ready to pounce but didn’t get the chance.

Anyway seeing you on Fox is a rather different presentation
than your on demand podcasts (Head explosions, French words)
however I applaud you on your professionalism and it’s obvious
that you have many years of experience in media.

    Thank you! Snoo-Bee (snewb)
