TSA. Sock Monkey. Toy Gun. What Could Go Wrong?
by Tammy on December 9, 2013Yes, the TSA has seized a sock monkey’s toy gun. Madness, absolute madness. Via NRO. TSA agents in St. Louis, Missouri, disarmed Rooster Monkburn, a cowboy sock money, of his two-inch toy gun after a woman brought the stuffed monkey through security. Agents said that it posed a threat because it could be confused for a real gun, according to local reports. “[The agent] said ‘this is a gun,’” said Phyllis May, recounting the experience to fly back to her home in Washington state. “I said no, it’s not a gun it’s a prop for my monkey.” May, who has a small business selling sock monkeys, was also questioned for bringing the sewing supplies she uses to make the stuffed...

Urkel Econ Advisor Austan Goolsbee Gets the Anagram Treatment
by Tammy on January 5, 2011Promoted to the main page because someone had to it 😉 Goolsbee, aka “Chicken Little,” (or maybe that should be Unstable Goose Little) gets the Maynard Treatment. A Post by Tammy on Behalf of a Comment by Maynard Wow, the chairman of the president’s council of economic advisers is named “Austan Goolsbee”! Why do so many elite bigwigs have funny names? When a name like that comes up, there’s nothing to do but run it through an anagram generator. Here’s a few samples of what we get for this one: * Seasonable Gout * Analogous Beets * Notable Gaseous * A Unstable Goose * Beagle Anus Soot * Loose Anus Begat * Able Anus Stooge * A Tongueless Boa *...

Gaydar Has Finally Been Proven. Here Is Your Test
by Tammy on May 28, 2010Mine (gaydar, that is) is highly tuned. Could I be wrong? Sure. It’s the, oh, 3 percent of the time I’m wrong (about whatever) that makes the 97 percent of the rest of the time when I’m right about everything really, really, glorious and impressive. Hey, God made me this way. Who am I to deny the miracle of getting the gift of gaydar (and other very important super presents) from God? It’s important sometimes, like when you want a date or when you might need to point out who might be gay. Or something. Whatever. (HT JammieWearingFool) Gaydar really exists: Scientists prove gay people are more able to pick out fellow homosexuals Gay people really do have an inbuilt...

Harry Reid Threatens Tea Partiers With a Rifle!
by Tammy on March 31, 2010Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, upset with all that Tea Party stuff, picked up a rifle and started to shoot. It’s obvious even though he wasn’t shooting at people or anyone at all, he was probably thinking about Tea Partiers, and thinking maybe some hate (or is that a feeling??), which means, of course, this must be considered a threat. I mean, really. Rifle. Pointing. Shooting. Probably thinking. And at a time when Tea Party Patriots were in the same state doing something. Obviously, probably maybe a Hate Crime and likely a Thought-ish Crime. I mean, pulling a trigger is a violent thing to do! Did anyone check to see what he was thinking at the time? I betcha he...

That Beck Intv With Massa? Not Good.
by Tammy on March 9, 2010Quite a few people, including myself on today’s Tammy Radio, cautioned everyone about the nature of a guy like Massa, and how, even though he seems to be going after the Obama Gang, he’s not exactly the sort of guy you want to hang on to. Glenn Beck found that out tonight. My general sense was, a guy like this doesn’t resign over one allegation made during a wedding when everyone had a little to drink. You do resign, however, when an ethics investigation might expose even more. Was he targeted by the Obama Mob because he voted against DeathCare? Possibly. Surprising? Not quite. Did Beck expect some sort of corruption expose with Massa? But really, do we need one...

Think You’ve Got Troubles? – ‘Man Fined In Failed Suicide’
by Pat_S on February 26, 2010A post by Pat From the Mongols to the Czars to the Commissars, life for the Slavs has been hardship and oppression. Their literature and music reflect a bleak and resigned spirit. They survive. Marriage, well that’s a challenge that may be more daunting. Ask the man from Omsk who jumped from a ninth-floor window during an argument with his wife. He thought he would escape his troubles through death. He failed. Not only did he live, but he must pay the medical bills for the 7-yr old girl he fell on. I suppose even with that, the worst is yet to come. He may have to go back home to his wife. It doesn’t say if he tried drinking...

“Biggest Dick” Unwanted in Saudi Arabia
by Tammy on February 4, 2010This is what happens when you have a country full of Little Dicks, they get all jealous. Or something. (HT Claire at SondraK). Pakistani ambassador rejected because his name is NSFW in Arabic Despite having served for years as a distinguished Pakistani diplomat, Akbar Zeb reportedly cannot receive accreditation as Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The reason, apparently, has nothing to do with his credentials, and everything to do with his name — which, in Arabic, translates to “biggest dick.” According to this Arabic-language article in the Arab Times, Pakistan had previously floated Zeb’s name as ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, only to have him rejected for the same reason. One can only assume that submitting Zeb’s...

Katie Couric’s Forbidden Dance of Gin
by Tammy on November 23, 2009When she’s done ambushing Sarah Palin, Gawker reveals Katie loves the Forbidden Dance of Gin. Besides dancing inappropriately in front of a little kid, Couric has indeed committed the unpardonable sin of making people not want to see women dance together. Even I may have to keep my eyes closed while I’m doing it. Dancing, that is, not humping another woman in front of a kid and co-workers. (HT conservativeBC) Katie Couric’s Forbidden Dance of Gin When CBS News anchor Katie Couric isn’t asking Sarah Palin gotcha questions, she’s doin’ Da Butt, or the Lambada, or whatever white ladies do when the Black Eyed Peas are on the sound system. More unbelievable images after the jump. UPDATE: We’ve learned that...

Norm Coleman Has Finally, Officially, Lost to a Clown
by Tammy on June 30, 2009And Washington, DC has one more to add to their circus finally admitting an actual clown to the formerly esteemed Senate. No more can they pretend to be anything other than what they all are. Court declares Franken the winner of Minnesota Senate race Minnesota’s Supreme Court has dismissed former Sen. Norm Coleman’s challenge to the state’s November election results and declared Democratic challenger Al Franken the winner. The unanimous opinion ruled that Franken “received the highest number of votes legally cast” and is entitled “to receive the certificate of election as United States senator from the state of Minnesota.” The former “Saturday Night Live” writer and performer had declared victory in the disputed race after a recount ended in...
