Sorry about the light blogging the last couple of days. I’ve been so jammed with various projects, and I have one more thing to finish this afternoon, but late this afternoon I’ll be back, with comments on the French riots (I especially liked the water cannon used on them yesterday–but they could have killed two birds with one stone if they combined that with liquid soap), and the lovely and continuing March of the Criminals right here at home. You know, our very own version of People Who March Who Want To Keep Their Something For Nothing Deal , also known as Illiegal Aliens.

But really, who can blame them? It’s like if I had walked into the Baskin Robbins my entire life and just took what I wanted (because it’s so much nicer than what I have of course), no one ever stopped me, and then suddenly a new manager came in and said, Wait a minute! Yeah, I’d scream and holler, too. After all, it worked before.

Oh, who is that new manager? Post 9-11 Americans, that’s who.

More later.Oh, and consider this an Open Thread to chat about anything your hearts desire. During and after Tammy Radio I’ll also have some blog links for you, too, to keep you warm until I get home this afternoon.

Do they even have soap in France? Or is something that has to be smuggled in.

    It’s offical. France stinks.

I also enjoyed watching the whiners get blasted with the hoses. Great entertainment ! I was warned before I went to France years ago that they did not bathe so be ready to smell funk, but it was in November and most everybody was wearing extra clothing and coats so it must have kept the smell inside. I really did enjoy the city, very beautiful and so much history. One thing though that was strange, I had to use the little girls room and being too far from my hotel room I had to use this public restroom in the middle of a park. It was underground and when I went in I had to pay some woman sitting there a few coins.(What a job !) She just sat there collecting the potty toll. A minute later a man walks in and goes. I’m thinking to myself, what the hell is this ? For the remainder of my stay I ended up just holding it until I got back to my hotel room.

Tammy I loved the show today. You really made me laugh and smile, which I always appreciate. The Sadie and Sydney duet always helps too!
    :o)

Carpediem–was it a teeny tiny potty as well? That’s gross. I always try to hold my breath when I have to use disgusting public restrooms. Somehow I think this helps. (I can hope it does)
The smallest I ever saw was in Scotland in this little B&B. I literally bumped my head on the sink.

Actually I think the combination of a slippery substance like soap combined with water cannons is a crowd control method some places use.

By creating a very slippery area, in effect those trying to protect an area make it impossible for a mob to organize a charge on stationary defenders (especially effective if you have a slope working for you).

But of course, soap and french folks aren’t on the best of terms in the best of times.

It would be a shame if the US came up with something like this…oh wait a sec….I’m employed by a company that does the “at will” thing. What ever shall I do? Hrm…perhaps if I perform well at my job, I’ll keep receiving paychecks.

  7. chase says:

I too work “At will” or is it “Against our will”, anyway I missed Tammy’s show today(unavoidable!). Are the French still firing water cannons? Hey where’s the German Shepards?

Tammy great show today and also in Torrance. You say it all before I have the chance. Maybe we should be rounding up the illegal aliens at all the demonstrations and check their papers. We could send them back home. And you are right that this is the beginning of a slave or peasant class and the further stratification of society. But of course that is what they are used to in Mexico. I hope the voters put this to rest soon as the more we do not enforce our own laws and people are not held accountable the more flawed and expensive our lives become.

Tink, It was different. If you had to sit your head popped up over the stall. I didn’t realize there were openings in the floor until the man came in and started urinating in it. It had a dungeon feel about it.
