It’s not only our infrastructure they’re destroying. As taxpayers pay for their medical care and food stamps, illegal aliens are sending billions of American dollars out of the country (5.2 billion dollars a year alone from Texas), removing what should remain as local wealth, meant to flow into and invigorate American cities where the work is produced. Combine this direct currency hijacking with stolen public services, the United States is to Mexico as Mina and Lucy are to Dracula. The question remains: Who is our Van Helsing?

Cash flow from Texas leaps as Latin American immigrants share their earnings with those back home

From a southwest Houston money-wiring agency, restaurant cashier Juan Torres sent $100 to his mother in Tampico, Mexico, on Tuesday, contributing to the increasing cash flow to Latin America.

Torres is one of the 2.8 million Latin American immigrants in Texas who will send $5.2 billion back home to relatives this year, according to a state-by-state breakdown released Wednesday by the Inter-American Development Bank’s Multilateral Investment Fund…

Immigrants living in California will send $13.2 billion this year to Latin America, making it the only state with higher remittances than Texas.

And this year, Texas will overtake New York, which ranked second on the list the last time this study was conducted, in 2004. New York will rank third this year, with $3.7 billion bound for Latin America, in part because some immigrants from the state moved to nearby New Jersey, Bendixen said.

Wait until you get to the actual spin of this particular story: we are essentially asked to accept this because while they do send billions and billions out of the country, illegals allegedly spend most of their money here (obviously not on health care with the rate our hospitals, trauma centers and emergency rooms are closing), sending only a supposed 10 percent “back home.”

The point, however, is not how much illegals spend here and send there–it is the fact that we’re dealing with billions of dollars that should be in the pockets of American workers; money which in its entirety would remain here, and without the concomitant abuse and destruction of our infrastructure, including health care, roads, schools, law enforcement and the judicial system. All provided to people who do not pay taxes, and have the gall, instead of paying for health insurance, to send tens of billions out of the country entirely.

What’s fascinating to me, is the Republicans still seem to have no clue that it is illegal immigration that has angered the base more than any other issue, including the president’s maniacal spending. Democrats, especially people of color and those who live in the inner city, who are perpetually taken for granted by the Democrat party, are the first ones to be fundamentally harmed by this illegal alien invasion. That party is also so disconnected it has no clue (or more likely, as I argue, actually doesn’t care) how this scourge affects the life of the average American.

Whatever happens in November, the bottom line is, nothing will change when it comes to this issue. The status of the border and stopping this nonsense rests with us, and it will after November. The best we an do is make sure you vote for people you know will give a damn when you call their office, and care more about you than the ACLU or La Raza or CAIR or any of those groups who do not have this nation’s best interests in mind.

Right now, we will have better luck with people who have an (R) after their name. It’s that simple.

You’re spot on as usual, Tammy. There is no bigger issue to the Republicans I know than the scourge of illegal immigration. I’ve actually been quite disappointed with how little the President and Congressional leaders listen to their supporters and what is important to them. There is no avenue for access to our representatives to discuss with them our concerns as their constituents. Letters, polls, turning down solicitations for money for the GOP (because of the President’s stand on illegal immigration), all have no effect.

I recently read that the President doesn’t want to appear as if he can be easily swayed by his supporters! I think appearances should take a back seat to doing what is right; unchecked illegal immigration has the potential to do irreparable harm to America. It’s not an ethnic issue but a survival issue. ANSWER has been involved in these pro-illegal rallies; as you mention hospitals are going bankrupt, people here illegally are collecting for social services at a time when baby boomers may very well break the Social Security ‘bank’, congestion in our cities has never been worse and unemployment for Americans of similar education levels is climbing (although I have to say I am pleased with the overall unemployment picture).

Locally, Mike McGavick is running against Maria Cantwell and his office claims he is strong on fixing illegal immigration, but even he supports a ‘path to citizenship’! The President has done us a huge disservice by taking the side he has and pushing it so strongly. I’m REALLY disappointed in him and the rest of the GOP who, rather than doing what is right to America, decide to pander to a special interest group.

A large part of the Democratic Party believe that we should have open borders on ideological grounds. They believe that to secure the borders is a racist act and that we should welcome with open arms those coming across the border. Look at what the students at Columbia did to the Minutemen who came there to speak. Many in the Republican Party have been soft on border security because it has been the politically correct thing to do, and they didn’t want to offend the Hispanic vote. We are now faced with a complete invasion from the south and it is costing us billions in social services and who knows how many criminals and terrorists are coming across the border to murder and rape. If the Democrats gain control of the House and Senate this year, you can kiss goodbye any hope of tighter security on the border. It will not happen, period.

I am wondering what the situation is in California, over illegal immigration, and how Spanish is taking over English for the dominant language?

I live in Dayton, Ohio, and I was surprised in recent years when Wal-mart and other places started having Spanish-only speaking people in noticeable numbers. My Fifth Third Bank ATM money machine’s first question is English or Spanish for your transaction?!

In the past year, I have been hearing and overhearing people talk about how bad the public schools are in California, that they moved back to Ohio because the schools are so bad, mostly due to an OVERpopulation of public school kids who do not speak English at all!?

Is America silently and stealthily being overrun by Spanish-only speakers, similar to how Europe is being overrun by Muslims who refuse to assimilate?

    Tammy:

First time commenter but long time listener to your radio show. You are dead-on right about this being the main issue that will cause the Republican base to stay home at the upcoming elections. Too many politicians and frankly blacks just don’t seem to get it.

Elizabeth Wright, who is black, does get it. You have GOT to read her article Tammy! Please see if you can get her on your show!

You will be amazed at her honesty and insights. I promise.
