And so they’ve decided to kill our pets, poison our children, contaminate our food, and send over dangerously faulty products, ranging from children’s toys and cribs to weak steel.
Oh, wait a minute…nevermind. The Chinese actually haven’t said what they’re going to do to retaliate considering they’re already doing everything they can to eff us up and harm or kill as many small animals and children as possible. But they’re working really hard on thinking up new ways to kill us, don’t you worry! Oh, and they’re also real busy planning to set up Communism in outer space since it works so damn well down here in Earth.
China: Dalai Lama award undermines ties
BEIJING – China warned the United States on Thursday that its honoring of the Dalai Lama “gravely undermined” relations between the two countries, demanding Washington stop supporting the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader and take steps to repair ties. [Like what? Swallowing some Chinese lead to show some goodwill? Kill Barney with melamine? Will that do it?]
The Foreign Ministry statement was the most vociferous yet in weeks of protests against Congress’ decision to award the Dalai Lama its highest civilian honor, personally bestowed by President Bush in a ceremony Wednesday.
“The move of the United States is a blatant interference with China’s internal affairs which has severely hurt the feelings of the Chinese people and gravely undermined the relations between China and the United States,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao told reporters.
I’m so sick of countries threatening strained relations with the U.S. Doesn’t the whole world already have strained relations with us?
Why doesn’t the U.S. do the same in return? Why not threaten China for its nonexistent consumer safety laws that have resulted in the injury or death of American pets and children??? Why does the U.S. always take the soft, pandering, defensive position? Why doesn’t the U.S. have a backbone anymore?
