Yes, my buddy Johnny and I went to the very famous annual West Hollywood Halloween Carnival this evening. Before it got too crazy. Johnny went as a radio talk show producer/host/sports guy dressed in a British t-shirt, and I went as a radio talk show host/writer/Fox News Political Analyst. I have worked so long on my costume, I can’t even tell you. I was thrilled to be able to wear it tonight.

My favorite experience was going into the Pavilions supermarket on Santa Monica Blvd. To buy baby food for Snoopy (I am obviously a party maniac hipster, through and through). Yes, I think we were the only ones buying the baby food tonight at that particular store. That said, there’s nothing like going to the market with devils, sailors, gladiators, pirates, and Little Bo Peep. And that was just the checkers and produce boys! Here is a snapshot of the market fun–Johnny and I with one of the Pavlion checkers/pirates.

My other favorite moment is our encounter with one of Johnny’s favorite celebrities–Peg Bundy.

Isn’t Johnny cute? Yes, we had fun and felt all our work putting together our costumes was totally worth it. But, alas, both of us have shows in the morning, so our evening did not last long. I hope your Halloween was safe and fun, for tomorrow is November 1st, the rent is due, the Frontline flea stuff has to be put on Syd and Snoop and we have only 94 days to the Super Tuesday primaries. If Halloween didn’t scare you, that certainly should.

Hi Tammy, I’m afraid I’m not as yet familiar with your oeuvre, but I just stumbled upon your site about 10 minutes ago and I have a sincere question. No doubt you have some intractible ideological reason for your gun…thing…but let me ask you this, coming from a woman who thinks you are absolutely gorgeous, but is Canadian and therefore allergic to guns (and violence): would you consider losing the guns if you met a nice girl from anywhere outside of America who reviles them but really likes you?

    🙂

Well, Tammy, glad you had a chance to make it on Fox News before the party. I had the TV on while I raced around to get the candy bowl together, and there you were being rational and compassionate (in a good way) towards the Red Queen, otherwise known as Rosie (couldn’t have really called her the Anne Boleyn I guess she thought she was trying to be on The Martha Stewart Show, unless that was Henry the 8th in that costume with her). What you said was so on target and right, that her friends may have done/should do an intervention to save her from the riptide she was/is swimming into.

Ah, Pavilions on Santa Monica. I used to live on Larrabee and I know the area well. If I end up moving back down to the ‘hood at least I know that Pavilions is still the same. I’m glad you had fun.

Simultaneous to Tammy buying “baby food” for Snoopy, I spent my Halloween night in Wal Mart buying (…drumroll…) drain cleaner!!!

We party animals have to stick together, you know… 😉

OMG…I used to live on Larrabee too before moving one street over to Palm.

    Small world.

It is indeed a small world. I lived on Larrabee way back in ’93-’94. It was a fun area and I miss it. There is a possibility that I’ll be moving back sometime next year if some work things pan out.
