SuperChavez!

A post by Maynard

Am I the first person to notice that this goofball seems to be auditioning for the lead role in Pixar’s The Incredibles (which, by the way, is a wonderful family film)?

Chavez, who is threatening to shut off oil to the US if he doesn’t get elected president-for-life, was lately told by the King of Spain, “¿Por qué no te callas?”, which perhaps loses something in translation. (See the exchange on YouTube.) (In spite of his big mouth, Chavez maintains a cadre of useful idiot admirers on moonbat left, such as Sean Penn and Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte. He also is buying a lot of friends with oil money, but I’m guessing that those “friends” will turn against him when the checks stop coming.)

When shopping for gas, remember that Citgo stations are owned by Petróleos de Venezuela.

Update: Good news. The voters of Venezuela have followed the lead of King Juan Carlos and told Mr. Chavez to shut up.

  1. Dear Tammy Bruce;

Terrific piece on the er, Teddy Bear thing…obviously it’s no picnic. You’re absolutely right of course. Imagine that the original great cause of feminism has come to be represented by such er, empty frauds and Dhimmi’s?

Absurd when there is so much that could be done for women and children in exactly the kind of basket cases like the Sudan.

You’re great and almost as good looking as me! I’m glad I found your very toppo writing. Must buy your naughty book. All the best from Melbourne Australia, Colonel Neville.

  2. Dear Tammy:

Aah, here in quaint Oz, El Gordo Chavez has barely registered, even his clear threat to use nukes if he can get ’em, from his new ideological pal Amachimpoutamahead, the worlds smallest Prez.

All the best from your new fan, Colonel Neville in sunny Melbourne Australia.

MAYARD – Your post on Citgo left out a very important set of facts. The former Mayor of NY NY was/is a general partner in 2 firms and a limited partner in 3 others that have made tens of millions of $ the last 12 years helping Chavez. One of their many accomplishments from 98 – 05 was the beating down of Citgo competitors in the NorthEast to allow Citgo to expand there.

    Spot on Maynard.

And he also has all the thugish qualities of Nelson Muntz from the Simpsons.

    Ha Ha.

    Rod,
Am I assuming you are refering to Guliani ?

Not to worry as Citgo is shooting itself in the foot and closing many of its refineries in the US anyways, thanks to management sent over fron Ven.

Ah, December 2. As someone else (I don’t remember who) pointed out, it’s a date with a considerable pedigree in dictatorship: the day in 1852 that Louis Napoleon decided he shouldn’t just be president, but follow his uncle’s footsteps and make himself emperor. And doubtless the votes will be close, but every poll suggests support for Chavez is dropping through the floor. Not that that will matter in the short run, because Chavez will “mysteriously” win this by an official large margin, since his own corrupt toadies will be the ones doing the counting/stuffing the ballot boxes. Did you know Venezuela officially has 40,000 registered voters over the age of 100, more than ten times the US? Vote early, vote often.

Venezuela is heading for explosion, and this will only make things worse.

  7. ballistic says:

It just came over on Drudge 12:30 a.m. EST: the Venezuelan voters have handed Chavez a defeat by a 51-49 margin. There will be no constitutional amendment allowing Hugo to serve for life or any of the other proposed changes. We’ll see if he cuts off oil exports to the U.S. and whatever else he’s threatened.

    EARTH 56 –
Yes Rudy. In the 3 nonlegal partnerships his budy Kerick is/was an officer as well.
I am surprised than none of the MSM other than ABC gives Rudy’s long, close relationship with Hugo any ink. After all – other than when Rudy backed Cuomo and Kennedy – he is and has been a Republican. I would have thought NBC, CBS, CNN would have had the ties between Rudy and Hugo as lead items Because I assume the MSM is anti Republican. The way they (other than ABC) protect Rudy I have to question my (and most GOPers) assumption of bias.
