13 years later. Fatter and officially guilty.

Woo hoo! Wouldn’t you know it, I’ve been out all night and am blogging this from my iPhone. Please use this as your open thread and I’ll post more when I get home.

Thank you Las Vegas for doing what Los Angeles couldn’t.

UPDATE:

Simpson guilty on all charges in robbery trial

LAS VEGAS (AP) – O.J. Simpson, who went from American sports idol to celebrity-in-exile after he was acquitted of murder in 1995, was found guilty Friday of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room.

Simpson, 61, could spend the rest of his life in prison. Sentenced was set for Dec. 5.

A weary and somber Simpson released a heavy sigh as the charges were read by the clerk in Clark County District Court. He was immediately taken into custody…

The verdict came 13 years to the day after Simpson was cleared of murdering his ex-wife and a friend of hers in Los Angeles in one of the most sensational trials of the 20th century.

This is likely to hamper Simpson’s search for the real killer.

  2. KWH says:

Looks like OJ finally ran outta juice. Maybe there is justice in this world.

  3. LtDan says:

He might wish he had pleaded guilty back when he was still “somebody”. Now he’ll probably just get a plain old boring 5 X 12 cell like everyone else.

This reminds me; where’s Sharpton lately?

  4. Larry says:

I guess we won’t be seeing OJ around town here in S Florida for a while. 🙂

http://tiny.cc/JGcxn Another article with a photo of his sister Carmelita, who brought her ‘carryin’ on’ performance to a dramatic climax by collapsing in a heap on the floor.

    Isn’t karma fun? 🙂

    Disgusting performance by Carmelita, btw.

Finally this wife beating double murderer will at least get some kind of punishment.
And yes like the above poster mentioned .. what a disgusting performance by Carmelita.

    Better late than never.
    He’ll probably die in prison.
    Again, better late than never.
I predict suicide as he will no doubt be the cell block b***h.

  9. Rain says:

Hopefully, his cell mate will be squeezing some juice out of him.

  10. Judy says:

Maybe the Goldmans can get OJs house in Florida and all his precious belongings. Justice always has her way of claiming her way.

  11. DogOnCrack says:

At least the Goldmans and the Browns get some degree of closure after what had to be 13 years of rage.

  12. Ruth Anne says:

Do you think there’s a risk of rioting because of a ‘miscarriage of justice’?

  13. Dave J says:

Judy, my educated guess is that the Goldmans should now be able to attach OJ’s property here in Florida to satisfy their judgment against him. It was previously protected by the state constitution’s homestead exemption, but now it won’t be homestead anymore, since OJ’s primary residence for the foreseeable future will be in the custody of the Nevada Department of Corrections.

    Sweet!!!!!!!!!

Idiot California juries let murderous celebrities off. I think the IQ of many Californians is that of an ashtray.
