More overconfidence from Obama and a question of priorities:

U.S. immigration agency girds for workload spike

…Obama told immigration officials that a legalization program would be part of legislation the White House would propose.

The U.S. government agency in charge of processing naturalization and residency applications is preparing for a surge in its workload if President Barack Obama pushes ahead with federal immigration reform next year granting millions of undocumented workers legal status.

A spokesman for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services said the agency is gearing up to handle the huge increase in applications expected if immigration reform is passed by the U.S. Congress.

This agency has been preparing for the advent of any kind of a comprehensive immigration reform, and if that means a surge of applications and operations, we have been working toward that,” USCIS spokesman Bill Wright told Reuters.

Our troops have their lives on the line in Afghanistan and the general in charge says they need support. Obama makes them wait while he thinks about it and thinks about. In the meantime he already has the Immigration bureaucracy preparing for the surge he plans to foist on the American people next year, no doubt stifling any and all debate.

The way Obama has disrespected General McChrystal is appalling. The disparity in loving attention our President gives to illegal immigrants over American soldiers is beyond appalling.

That must explain why 3800 border enforcement officers have been pulled off the Mexican border.

America is in trouble. Your President is a pillock. All great civilizations fall (Rome, Great Britian etc) and I am afraid that Obama will be remembered as the president who bought about America’s downfall.

Problem is who will take Americas place? China? Russia? Islam? Who ever it is – forget freedom.
Although after saying that, the politically correct brigade of the last 20 years or so have been conditioning us for the take over by telling us what it ok to think or say so the transition will be a little less traumatic.

I am appalled that we are even considering amnesty. We need to be on this in the same way we are on the health care issue. Immigrants are necessary for this country to thrive and grow, however, there is no such thing as an “illegal immigrant” One is either an immigrant, or an illegal alien.

About 3 years I ran across this report from Iran

Commandant of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, said on state television. “God willing, the 21st century will see the defeat of the U.S. and the Zionists, and the victory of freedom-seeking nations of the world. The final goal of the [1979] revolution is to create global Islamic rule and a regime of law to be led by the Imam Mahdi”.

The [Iranians] President’s chief strategist, Hassan Abbassi, has come up with a war plan based on the premise that “Britain is the mother of all evils” – the evils being America, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, the Gulf states and even Canada, all of whom are the malign progeny of the British Empire. “We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization,” says Mr Abbassi. “There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them… Once we have defeated the Anglo-Saxons the rest will run for cover.”

    It reminded me of this:

Rev 13:2 Now the beast that I saw was like a leopard, but its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority to rule. One of the beast’s heads appeared to have been killed, but the lethal wound had been healed. And the whole world followed the beast in amazement; they worshiped the dragon because he had given ruling authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast too, saying: “Who is like the beast?” and “Who is able to make war against him?”

I can’t how all the proposed changes are called ‘reform’. Reform implies improvement. It won’t be immigration reform, it will be immigration revision and not a good revision. It’s also not health care reform, it’s health insurance revision and a horrible revision at that.

Need to let all congress & media know that we know it’s not immigration reform, it’s cowardice to enforce good immigration laws.

That is scary VinceP1974 I am in little New Zealand and even we get a mention.
