I’m pleased to announce that Tammy Radio is expanding! Beginning this coming Monday Tammy Radio will expand from 2 hours to 3 hours. The first 2 hours, as always, will continue to be broadcast live on our exclusive net carrier, TalkStreamLive from 11am-1pm PT. The 3rd hour will be available exclusively as a podcast for subscribers, also known as Tammy Army Members. TAMs will now receive the original 2 hour podcast of the live show, and a separate one hour podcast featuring the exclusive 3rd hour of Tammy Radio.
The Tammy Army makes my radio show, and all of my work, possible. Please do join us! In addition to supporting Tammy Radio you will have immediate access to all the podcasts, the show archives, netcasts, Book Club, chat rooms, and other exclusive media and access.
So, beginning on Monday TAMs, you will have two podcasts to access, with the last hour of the show available as the separate podcast.

Looking forward to that third hour. Is it possible to get all three hours as one podcast, as it would make things simpler?
We considered for along time how to offer the podcasts, but we decided on the 2 segment for 2 reasons–first a lot of TAMs download on their phone or MP3 players and the volume of a 4 hour download would be pretty big and take a while for some, but the main reason is for the TAMs who listen to the live show live and then need to only access the show’s 3rd hour. I like the separate downloads. I listen live and don’t need to get a 83M file prefix for every third hour program. After a while, we’d all be throwing the old ones to have room for new.
Here’s my question: when will you be recording the third hour? And how long after the regular broadcast will it be available? Somehow, a five hour/part rant provoked by your Sunday paper doesn’t quite seem right. Though it could happen.
The third hour will be done immediately after the first 2. So all 3 hours will be available within 15-30 after the last hour is done.

when you gave up saturdays it was sad because saturdays are dead for us talk radio fans so i will save the third hour for saturday and have 5 hours of tam.

I would rather listen to Tammy radio any day than American Idol. Can’t stand commercial TV. DVR or TiVo is the only way to do TV.

Tammy, he would be a terrific TAM phone interview – if you could find him during one of his down times in between the biggest news stories on the globe. He clearly enjoyed this spontaneous “twitterview” and showed himself to be a man of wit, wisdom, and fine character in the lightening fast answers he gave. Did you know he was “fired from CNN”? WOOFAW on them!
great news tammy. i wish our friend larry elder would do what your doing. remember how many years he did 4 hours. you and larry would make my day! if he’d do 3 hours i’d have 6 hours of great radio. no commericals and great time out music.
