I confess, the new SNL parody of Palin by Tina Fey made me laugh. I have a feeling it made the Real Palin laugh, too. So, yeah, The Sarah Palin Network. You betchya! My fave? “Fat Cats.”

Funny, yes, but they stole the “Charlie Brown teacher’s voiceover” shtick from Tammy. I say: SUE NBC!

  2. TAM 2010 says:

The last few syllables of the Charlie Brown teacher voice dubbing sounds like “Tammy Bruce”.

My fave was painting with Ned Brownstone (sp?) 🙂 Bob Ross must be twirling in his grave right now. And the shot of Michael Steele at the end–PRICELESS.

She’s not even president yet, and Gov. Palin is already creating jobs. Tina Fey now has a gig for years. So much for “irrelevance.”

And to think Fey said she was “retiring” her Palin impression after the election was over. Then again, how many times have the Who done “farewell” tours?

Too funny! Loved the ‘Hey Journalist, I Gotcha!’

  6. jondavid says:

Yeah it was funny … More about ratings than bashing Sarah … If SNL was smart take Beck offer up & have him & Palin C0-Host SNL… Wuld rival their 70’s ratings …

    • jap81 says:

I agree Palin and Beck hosting SNL would be awesome. It would have been really funny if Sarah Palin started out the show as Tina Fey on Saturday.

I thought the skit at the beginning of the show was funny, too—Obama saying the census wasn’t as intrusive as it’s been made out to be, then he goes through the questions: “How important is fantasy in your sex life?”, “What is your ATM pin number?”, “What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?” LOL

    • bachmann2012 says:

I thought that it was funny, too. It was also the skit to date in which they have most directly taken on Obama. The health care opposition question to see how they would ration care, and the gun owning question were especially hard hitting.

The only line that I thought was funny was when they said that The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno would be part of the all-Palin Channel. Other than that one line I thought it was your typical unfunny Saturday Night Live drivel.

    • mrcannon says:

I agree. Sarah’s SOUTH PARK treatment was funnier.

    • sandyl says:

I agree frank. I liked the census skit, but Palin’s I thought was just more of showing how dumb she is supposed to be. But I am a tough audience since I remember the 70’s SNL, and it is no comparison. I stopped watching years ago.

What struck me most was how unpretty Tina Fey is. Her inside self seems just as stingy. If she were a lot plumper she’d better at doing Katie Couric. Though why you’d want to watch that …. unless, of course, Fey dances hotter.

Funny, very funny. At least Fey won’t get severely beaten for “playing” Palin. She could’ve gotten a broken leg for wearing a Palin pin.

The chief fund raiser for Bobby Jindal, Allee Baustch, and her boyfriend were terribly assaulted by Palin-hating thugs and ended up in the hospital for wearing Sara Palin pins! And as Jim Hoft points out, the DinosaurMedia a silent about the crime.
