Not only is Brewer not backing down, she’s ramping up the fight. This is called Leadership. This ad nails Obama and is paid for by Governor Jan Brewer. Her fight is good for Arizona and good for this nation. Supporting Arizona must be at the top of our list in all our efforts.

My guess is when Gov Brewer wakes up in the morning, the devil says more than oh crap, she’s awake.

    • NPJules says:

Yes! Loved that quote! At least there are two governors in the U.S. that are doing their jobs: Gov Brewer & Gov Christy!
      Go Chris Go!
Don’t back down AZ residents & Gov Brewer! The entire country has your back. Those candy canes in DC are shaking in their boots (while they keep them on the neck of BP of course) Oooooooo, so scared of them! (Sarc)

The next couple months may turn out to be fun in a wack-a-mole sort of way.

  3. wilde1 says:

The last line of the add is great ” Do your job, secure the border”

My birth state, Arizona VS the Obama administration…I love it!!

  5. thierry says:

i’m glad she’s not backing down but these generic airy faux ambient techno Garageband soundtracks in every conservative ad have GOT to go- they all sound alike and have me looking around for my glow ticks.

    • naga5 says:

thierry, i am thinking you meant glow sticks!
not that i have gone to a concert with glowsticks provided by “the powers that be”, in canada, one of the best friggin concerts ever!
seriously, TAMs, i think we need concrete responses. without mccain, arizona is a flyover state. the lame stream media thinks they can ridicule arizona and be done with the issue. this ain’t 1976 and as long as foxnews is in business, the revolution will be televised. with the rise of allen west, scott brown’s election (still assessing that one) and marco rubio (yup still grinding the numbers and the arizona law comment too), the adage that all politics is local may be less true. conservatives are in a position now to influence elections more than just writing to the local newspapers, but by sending money bombs and tweets.
sure, i bought a friggin breakfast at the phoenix airport sunday as a buycott and my friends have suggested buying a CZ through an arizona dealer. we need to make everyone know that we are not asleep at the wheel and we heart arizona!

ah ha ha ticks! after enough special k and ecstasy i pretty much used to think i was covered in the glowing ticks. funny how those typing mistakes are a window into the subconscious.

it’s not that i don’t support the revolution , i just demand a better soundtrack.

Awesome! I absolutely love it. Call out those weenies in Washington.

I could have gone through the day without hearing Obama’s joke. I guess I will see how far up my blood pressure can travel before I explode in a million pieces. A good friend was killed by an illegal driving drunk. Guess what, no procesuction. But my car insurance is sky high because I have to carry coverage for uninsured drivers, who for the most part are illegal. I live in AZ and the devestation is unreal. But no, I am the racist. I have had to prove my citizenship at least 10 times to INS in the last 15 years. ( My parents are American and lived in Montana. The only hospital was in Canada) Did I wake up in a different country? Somedays when I go shopping and I see Spanish above English, and don’t even here English being spoken, I wonder….

I don’t see Gov. Brewer backing down at any moment on this. She is very sincere on this issue and has released excellent articles on her decision to sign SB1070 into law. When Robert Krentz was killed, that was truly a final straw. Gov. Brewer asked again for help and the adminstration ignored her, so she took them to task -and she will not be bullied into submission! The Obama administration has f**ked with the wrong state this time!!! We won’t take his crap – we throw it back at him, and Gov. Brewer’s new video certainly demonstrates that!

Brewer knew this bill was going to cause a stir with the left and so did our state legislature. They were very well prepared to deal with this matter and to show the rest of the country how to take care of things! They are a strong and very vocal bunch in the AZ state house who have connected with constituents about illegals/border security for the last year because they knew we had their backs on this as well as having new leadership under Brewer.

I also wish to share another sign that Arizona is continuing the fight in the right direction.

A week ago, the state legislature approved a bill to ban an Ethnic Studies program (set up by La Raza) being taught to students in some Tucson high schools. The program is actually a communist-infested curriculum of teaching hatred toward America and promoting, as State Superintendent Tom Horne says, ethnic chauvanism. http://www.kgun9.com/Global/story.asp?S=12446536

Their textbook is Occupied America by Rodolfo Acuna – completely harmless, right? (so is the Howard Zinn book pictured in the video link…) Well, here’s a little insight into Acuna and all that ‘love and unity’ being ‘taught’ at Tucson High School: http://www.thesocialcontract.com/artman2/publish/tsc0703/article_636_printer.shtml

Acuna’s ties with The Weather Underground should not surprise you and neither should Obama’s ‘response’ to the law in Arizona – and The United States. Too bad McCain missed an opportunity to expose Obama’s connection with Ayers. Would have been mighty helpful in establishing links between groups promoting subversive movements/principles.

Horne also announced that Ajo Unified School District is to return 1.2 million dollars to the state because the school had approximately 105 students who were living in another country (guess which one!) and boarding a school bus to an American school. The bus literally picked them up about 200 yards from the border – since 2007! The investigation was launched after constituents complained about it to Horne. He revealed the results in December 2009, and this week, he released the financial info.

The failure on the part of the feds has caused all of this mess, and for what? All for the sake of exploiting and enslaving people for the purpose of creating discord and chaos in America – and a new slave class.

Obama may be laughing in front of a room full of his sheep, but it will be the state of Arizona having the last laugh at his expense – you can mark my words on that!

I agree with Aliencats – listening to O joke and laugh on this issue just fully angers me! I am from New Mexico, have lived in NYC for many years, and travel frequently to NM to visit my family. The crime rate in NM is far far worse than in NYC; the types of crimes, typically all drug related, truly gruesome. Listening to news broadcasts in NM is like descending into the last ring of hell. But, of course, we do have terrorism threats in NYC –( for pithy commentary on that I direct all to Ann Coulter’s recent column in re: O’s fingers-crossed, hope the bombs don’t go off strategy of dealing with terrorism.) I hope someone is keeping notes in re: just how damaging malignant narscissism on steroids can be! I am only calmed by the Tammy clock on this column that counts down the days as they pass from the office of O.

  10. larrygeary says:

We might not have such problems with drug gangs and drug-related crimes if Americans weren’t consuming illegal drugs at a prodigious rate. I have to ask, why? What have we become? What are we trying to escape? Why do we need to block out reality? America needs fundamental change, but in more than just the political sense. I have no answers, but I believe our problems are much deeper than we are willing to admit.

    • Artgal says:

Considering the completely bizarre, idiotic bills and statements coming from our politicians these days, I think you will find the drug trail leads to DC!!! Only crackheads could write crap like Obamacare or last year’s stimulus whopper and maintain a straight face.

      • sandyl says:

For the ones you can’t “dumb down” you simply stone them out of their heads. This is another reason DC doesn’t do anything about illegal immigration and its drug trade. The less people are aware, the better for the fascists in Washington!

  11. lanzita says:

Every conservative candidate running this year might use an add like this one or better, this one. Oh boy, let me tell you, an add like this one, will bring a lot of votes. At the end of the add might read: “Do your job, secure the border a**h***”.

  12. Kimj7157 says:

How refreshing to see someone in office with an actual backbone and the courage of her convictions. I do hope that she, and the good people of Arizona, realize that for every person or business that actually boycotts, there will be an appreciative, supportive patriotic American citizen or business to fill the gap. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

  13. DaveVA says:

I love the “Tams”. I started listening to Tammy few years ago. Can’t get her now in the VA Beach area that I know of. Smart cookies post on this site. The post by “artgal” is better than the news sites. I am so glad we have some people to pull for like Gov. Brewer.

    • KatieSilverSpring says:

Of course you can get her in VaBch (my hometown). She is on the Internet not the radio. As long as yu can tap into a signal you can get her. I’ve listened in the western end as well as at the Beach.

  14. VakeVegas says:

Excellent! I love the ending best: “Do your job and secure the border” DO YOUR JOB! is perfect and totally appropriate since the dumb bastard ain’t doin’ his job!

    Way to go, Governor Brewer!!!

  15. eMVeeH says:

We The People also need to remind government leaders to do their job! Just like New Yorkers did 40 years ago. [Guess every generation of politicians needs a good swift kick on the behind.]

Kathy Shaidle recalls a time, ironically when the WTC was being built, that a great populist uprising took place ala today’s Tea-Party movement: The Hard Hat Riots. The riots happened in response to constructions workers’ disgust and frustation at another anti-war, anti-American, American-flag-desecrating rally. The construction workers were joined by suits from the NYSE and some of New York’s finest.

As Morty Grutman, an electrician, said, “A lot of us are World War II vets and fathers and purple hearts. We’re form a generation that believes the flag over everything.” Today, I’d add CATs, TAM’s, Freedom-loving Americans, and independent conservatives to Morty’s list!

  16. Bash1955 says:

she tells it like it is!

  17. Maynard says:

Obama has repeatedly made cheap, nasty jokes denigrating anyone that disagrees with him politically. This is unusual in a chief executive, whose job is, among other things, to bring the country together as much as possible. A president more often goes out of his way to be too squishy; he leaves it to others to play the bad guy. McCain/Palin were closer to the classic model; we perceived Palin as the attack dog while McCain was the “good cop”. This approach risks losing sight of one’s core principles; on the other hand, you’ve got to get the nation on your team if you want to move solidly forward. At this point Obama, who sold himself as a uniter, is an outspoken divider. It seems he’s deliberately turning American against American, so we will squabble amongst ourselves during this era of grave peril.
