UPDATES Friday night:

PALINTV: The full Sarah Palin speech at the YAF Ronald Reagan Centennial Dinner 2/4/11

Reuters: Palin says Obama’s policies have U.S. on road to ruin

******
Tonight the Young America’s Foundation Reagan Centennial celebration officially begins. February 6 is President Reagan’s 100th birthday and the Reagan Library has a site dedicated to this year pf honoring our hero’s special year. Friday night will kick off two nights of special events in honor of President Reagan, including a dinner tonight keynoted by Governor Sarah Palin, and the closing banquet with special guest Vice President Dick Cheney.

I have the honor of being able to attend the dinner this evening and have had to leave for Santa Barbara this morning so today “Tammy Radio” will be a Best Of. I will be tweeting and blogging today and through the weekend. Both the “Palin Report” and the “Weekend Update” will post on Sunday.

We do have plans here at Tammy Blog for tonight’s event. You have two options for viewing. First, YAF has a Ustream channel which will bring you many of the weekend’s events, including Governor Palin’s speech at 8pm PT. Click here for the link to the YAF UStream coverage information.

Second, C-Span will also be covering the event both on television and on C-Span radio. You can also get their coverage on their website.

For subscribers here at the blog we will have the TAM Chat up and unruly starting at 730pm PT, 1/2 hour before Governor Palin is set to speak. I will also be Tweeting as often as possible, and updating the blog as well.

Friday is going to be a big and exciting day. With all that is happening in the world I hope you will be able to enjoy and embrace the optimism and confidence both President Reagan and Governor Palin offer. I believe her speech Friday night will reflect on Reagan’s seminal speech “A Time for Choosing,” delivered in support of Barry Goldwater’s 1964 run for the presidency. if you haven’t watched it yet, or it’s been a while, now is the time 🙂

  5. Red Barr says:

We can’t turn back the hands of time and expect to have Ronald Reagan as our president in the year 2012 but the voters could elect Sarah Palin so she could become part of the Reagan revolution.

Palin rocked, as usual! I believe she even took a swipe at Bush, at about the 14:30 mark, when she said “…big government… encroached in the language of progress and compassion…”
