I would hope so. Their, and our, very existence relies upon it.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to rally support in his cabinet for an attack on Iran, according to government sources.

The country’s defence minister Ehud Barak and the foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman are said to be among those backing a pre-emptive strike to neutralise Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

But a narrow majority of ministers currently oppose the move, which could trigger a wave of regional retaliation.

The debate over possible Israeli military action has reached fever pitch in recent days with newspaper leader columns discussing the benefits and dangers of hitting Iran.

Mr Lieberman responded to the reports of a push to gain cabinet approval by saying that “Iran poses the most dangerous threat to world order.”

Variations on this story have been showing up periodically for years.

Yes, the rumbling have been going on for years. But something’s got to give sooner or later. It’s like the debt crisis. You can’t kick the can down the road forever. Eventually it comes to a head.

The thing is, Iran couldn’t be stopped in a surgical strike, as Israel once did in Iraq. With facilities distributed and buried (and secret), it would require a major air commitment, going on over some time (probably weeks). That might be a heavier burden than Israel could carry.

If America takes the lead in an attack on Iran, I think Obama’s chances of reelection rise dramatically. Considering what we just saw in Libya, this is not impossible. Hillary Clinton would probably pull together the same coalition that we formed for the Libyan operation. I wouldn’t be surprised if this follow-up had been quietly discussed when Libya was put together. I might even wonder if Hillary went into Libya with Iran in mind.

An attack on Iran would precipitate an oil shock that would economically rock the world. That’s why America and a coalition might join in: They’d rather see it done with overwhelming force, thus protecting the oil flow, rather than have Israel go it alone with barely enough resources, leaving Iran to lash out randomly resulting in regional damage and creating regional instability. If the West has decided that something’s got to happen, they know they’d better get in front of that something. The oil must flow, and squabbling children must not be allowed to interrupt it.

The day Israel launches an attack on Iran will be the day when we no longer buy Oil from all the Sand People in the Middle East. So don’t hold your breath. In my opinion, of course.

With Europe hating the Jews and all of the Middle East hating the Jews and all of the Far East hating the Jews and all the Dems hating the Jews then its a good thing that God Almighty loves the Jews. The Jews will win and the rest of the world will lose. The nations will become extinct.
