Chief Justice Roberts is a prayerful man and I believe his decision was not a betrayal but, in fact was brilliant. The better decision was to throw it back in the lap of congress practically assuring an Obama defeat in Nov. Nero fiddled while Rome burned and where is the Roman Empire today? Roberts knows that America since its conception has been against unfair taxes. Anybody with a brain will not stand for this. By overturning Taxcare, there just would have been an inept yawn from the heartland. Now we have a chance. Thank you Chief.

I’m so glad you commented as such. I was remembering that Roberts was also a prayerful man. and there was a “peace” that came over me after the announcement (after a WTF?) as I remembered that God works in ways that baffle even the intelligent (or something like that). Anyway, I did read between the lines almost right away, and as the other side says, this possibly increases our solidarity come November.

The silver lining is the motivation to get out and not only vote, but work for Romney as well as house and senate candidates. Conservatives, independents, libertarians now have the defining moment: The courts will not do our work; we must do it as voters. We have to supersede in numbers the stupid vote. It can be done. We as voters have to return the government to its rightful place: of, for and by the American people. As regards Romney’s speech, it was simple, clear and well-delivered. It hit every Obamacare turd in the punchbowl. I happen to like his Hugh Beaumont style. There, I feel better, and I’m now motivated.

It’s so hard for me to be optimistic after ObamaCare bveing upheld, after all the talk and almost complete inaction by Boehner, and the wishy-washy doubletalk from McCain. I would desperately like to believe that Romney would repeal ObamaCare, but said similar things in 2010, didn’t he? And what’s he done? NOTHING!

It’s the old joke – How can you tell when a politician’s lying? HIS LIPS ARE MOVING!

I dropped my share of the Romney money bomb today. And there will be more later. As for this motivating people to get out and work on campaigns, yes. My wife and I will be helping Wendy Long take Kirsten Gillibrand, Schumer’s sock puppet, out of the senate. We’ll be replacing her with a Republican woman!

What is RINORomney’s record on keeping OTHER campaign/fund-raising pledges??? This is a serious question, not rhetorical or skeptical.
