That’s right, the cover-up effort has now been squarely placed inside the White House itself. A revelation after which everyone stood in shock and disbelief. Said no one, ever.

Catherine Herridge reported some new developments in the investigation into the Sept. 2012 Benghazi attack, including the release of documents that lead directly to the White House. Among the documents, obtained by Judicial Watch through a FOIA request, is an email from senior White House adviser Ben Rhodes to other top administration officials, including Press Secretary Jay Carney.
Under the subject “prep call with Susan,” Rhodes wrote that the goal for Rice’s appearances on Sunday talk shows would be “to underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure or policy.”
The message was sent three days after the attacks, which left four Americans dead at a U.S. consulate and nearby CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya…
It doesn’t matter what kind of evidence they find. Nothing will ever happen to any of these people. They will all retire with golden parachutes. Most Americans are too stupid or too busy watching “the game” to care. They think Benghazi was some actor from the 70’s. Do you think Boner will do anything with this? That Benghazi was a planned military attack, and not a protest that got out of hand, has been obvious since the beginning. That Obama and Hillary and Rice constructed a political cover-up has been obvious since the beginning. Alas, people see what they want to see, and never mind reality.
Whenever I read and hear stories about Benghazi, I always think about this speech given by Pat Caddell on 9/21/2012, when the presidential campaign was in full swing. The specific part of the speech, though it’s all on point, is at 10:20.And then fast forward to 17:30. And there you have it…

New York magazine has just done story on Lara Logan’s suspension from 60 Minutes following her Benghazi story. Haven’t read, but following is link to TVNewswer post about it. I’ve never understood the LL brouhaha. Not clear to me that LL did anything really wrong. (And I’ve never cared for her.) Story painted is one of management never said, no, to her and therefore her over-ambitiousness got her in trouble. Timing may be coincidental, but story may be warning to others (Republicans?, Atkisson?) that you dig into Benghazi and we’ll paint you the same.
