Snoopy Happy 4th

Thank God for the Founders and for the divine spark that made this great nation possible. We are reminded every day that her future is in our hands, let’s make sure we make everyone proud. Every morning when I wake up I’m thrilled I’m an American. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with you good people makes each day even more wonderful.

Have a wonderful and beautiful 4th of July holiday everyone!

Ignore whatever the Dumb Bastard in the White House says and does today. Here’s a 4th of July message from a real president, Ronald Reagan, from 7/4/1986.

Two men, patriots the like of which we may never see but once in our lifetimes. May God grant us more men such as these once again.

    Happy July 4th!

200 years ago, July 4, 1815, the cornerstone for the first Washington Monument (located in Baltimore) was laid. The Baltimore Washington Monument reopens today after it was closed in 2010 for renovation.

And to show what a difference 200 years make, the $#$R$##%$ pick today to announce a tentative agreement with Iran. We should have know that Obama would pick the Fourth of July for that.

This should be read, out loud, before dinner today and fireworks tonight. Though some of the complaints against the King of Great Britain are ‘of the time’, more than a few are in place, right now, against the will and common good of the Citizens and States of the Union by the Federal Government in Washington,D.C.

For me, the 4th is a time to celebrate my good fortune of choosing the right parents. It’s also a time to remember people important in my life and yours, and those individuals that have been so influential in American culture—but only because they had the right to do so. To that end, I always play this short song. It’s a version of “America” as interpreted by the greatest electric bass player ever, Jaco Pastorius. Enjoy your 4th, TAMs…and keep yourselves safe…Lord knows you’re the only ones who can.

Around here they’ve banned fireworks. Even sparklers. I mean, no fireworks. Possession is a crime, not just their use. So, if you’re like most of us with some extra sparklers left over from years past, you’re a criminal now.

So, we figure we might as well do the crime, since we’re already judged and condemned. Might as well have some fun.

We’re shooting off a mortar show later when the sun goes down. We got them from South Carolina, where they can sell them (but can’t use them). Last time we had three police cruisers show up to bust us. Luckily I’m still young enough to run well. After the post-Baltimore riot crime wave of burglaries and vehicle larcenies we had exactly zero police cruisers show up. Hey, they got priorities down at city hall.

Let’s face it. The Fourth is on its way to being a criminal event. Might as well have fun with it. Enjoy your Fourth. Reflect on and honor those strange men from a distant country called the past, who founded this country.

Hey, Obama, you didn’t build that. We did – and it’s ours!
