I’ve said it before: as much as I’m looking forward to his last day in office, I dread to think who he might award pardons to. Is there any mechanism for challenging them?
No. Presidential pardon power is absolute by the Constitution. The only controls are impeachment and voting out of office. Neither of which matter on his way out.
