Speaking at a campaign rally Tuesday in Nebraska with billionaire Warren Buffett, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton attacked Donald Trump for wanting to “cut taxes for the super-rich.” She then followed up by promising she would “raise taxes on the middle class.”
“Trump wants to cut taxes for the super-rich,” Clinton told the jeering crowd. “Well we’re not going there, my friends. I’m telling you right now, we’re going to write fairer rules for the middle class and we are going to raise taxes on the middle class!”
The crowd cheered and Clinton appeared unaware of her Freudian slip….

In news semi-related to middle class work, today 8/4/16, is Obama’s 55th birthday and as he jets off to Martha’s Vineyard, it’s being reported that 15 yr. old Sasha has been working 4 hr. morning shift at Nancy’s seafood restaurant on MV, busing tables and counter orders. NY Post Page Six reports that there are comments along the lines of, why is she being punished with humbling life experience (sister Malia’s job last summer was intern on TV show Girls). Besides the ‘sweet’ reminder of how in touch the MV Obama crowd is, with an actual job you get to see taxes taken out of paycheck. Interning for zero doesn’t show you that. Rooting for Sasha.

Notice also that the audience was cheering her statement!

And in this clip Hillary starts to refer to Donald Trump as “my husband”. Hmmm.
