Kudos to Media Research Center for catching this really shameless and misleading piece of, uh, “news”.

Just when you think CNN and Jake Tapper could not possibly sink any lower. They really have become the Clown ‘News’ Network.

Reacting to word that the U.S. Supreme Court has approved the Trump administration’s ban on new transgender military recruits, CNN correspondent Jessica Dean ran a piece which deceptively edited a clip of Donald Trump from the 2016 campaign to make it appear he had made a general promise to support “LGBTQ” rights which he is now allegedly breaking.

In fact, the clip of Trump in question was responding to the Pulse night club mass shooting as then-candidate Trump promised to prevent more such attacks on LGBTQ Americans by Muslim terrorists — a specification which was carefully cut out for the CNN piece….

    FWIW; Jessica Dean grew up in Little Rock AR and graduated from USC with journalism degree. Her husband works in government relations and Democrat politics.
    Philly Inquirer article on web, says he worked on Bill Clinton’s Pres. campaign and at one time was Chief of Staff to a Pennsylvania AG who has been convicted of perjury, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice.
    Since PA isn’t a hardcore Republican state, I don’t think that could have been a political payback prosecution unless internal Dem. politics.
    Maybe the husband is George Conway to her Kellyanne, but for now, I’m skeptical.

    Also, reason why Repubs. need video for accurate transparency. Don’t let Chuck, Nancy et al, come out and say, this is what Trump said/did. Other video did in the Nathan Phillips narrative. Cop cams for everyone.
