We give them this man and spend billions to help their ‘Arab Spring.’ It’s time we stop the fantasy that Islamists are anything but our mortal enemies.

Horrible. The desperation everywhere is increasing. The shooter, now dead, had been laid-off from his job last year and returned today, killing a co-worker. NYC shooting: Gunman kills former co-worker; at least 9 hurt A man who had been fired from his job in a shop outside the Empire State Building returned to the scene Friday morning, shot dead a former co-worker and then opened fire on police officers in a chaotic, rush-hour gunfight. The gunman also was killed, and at least nine people were wounded in the exchange of gunfire, city officials said. Police identified the gunman as Jeffery Johnson, 53, a Manhattan resident who had been laid off from his job about a year ago as a women’s...

Here’s a snippet, please do go take a look at the whole thing 🙂 The Guardian is known as a liberal paper so I appreciate their willingness to bring, um, alternative points-of-view to their readers. Liberals aren’t too happy about that, of course, as you’ll see in their comments section. They always cry and spit when their preferred meme is confronted. As I note in the column, many of us have been forced into responding to the left’s craven attempts to score political points on the back of a horrific tragedy. They believe decent people simply will not respond. We will, and it’s our decency that compels that response. Only law-abiding armed citizens can prevent more Auroras The liberals trying...

According to a news conference this morning, 10 of the dead are still in the theatre. But that doesn’t stop Obama’s White House, liberals, and ABC from trying to score political points. Remember the leftist mantra–never let a good crisis go to waste! Here’s background and the latest on this obscene event, and the now usual depraved response by liberals. Gunman attacks ‘Batman’ premiere in Colorado, 12 dead A gunman in a gas mask and bullet-proof vest killed 12 people at a midnight premiere of the new “Batman” movie in a suburb of Denver early on Friday, sparking pandemonium when he hurled a gas canister into the auditorium and opened fire on moviegoers. The attack injured 55 others including children...

Update 2: Kennedy Wife Died From Hanging. At least she did it when none of the children were home. Suicide is the most selfish thing in the world to do. Leaving those four children with that legacy is shameful and disgusting. Having experienced the aftermath of someone close to me committing suicide, I have no sympathy for anyone who chooses that path. Certainly none when children are left behind. Update: Reports indicate suicide. 52 years old, and leaves 4 children behind. Just awful. Really, this family is cursed. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s estranged wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, who had fought drug and alcohol problems, was found dead at the family property Wednesday. An autopsy for the 52-year-old was scheduled for...

In Florida, and prosecuted by the same woman prosecuting George Zimmerman. Another case of over-charging by State Attorney Angela Corey. I’ve included a snippet of the story here but click through and read the whole thing, you’ll be as infuriated as I am. Saying he had no discretion under state law, a judge sentenced a Jacksonville, Florida, woman to 20 years in prison Friday for firing a warning shot in an effort to scare off her abusive husband. Marissa Alexander unsuccessfully tried to use Florida’s controversial “stand your ground” law to derail the prosecution, but a jury in March convicted her of aggravated assault after just 12 minutes of deliberation. The case, which was prosecuted by the same state attorney...

As we expected. I will never stop missing him. Andrew Breitbart, the conservative blogger whose posting of a sexually explicit photo of former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner led to the congressman’s downfall, died of heart failure, the Los Angeles County Coroner said in an autopsy report released Friday. Breitbart, 43, died on March 1. The final cause of death was listed as heart failure, which was caused by Breitbart having an enlarged heart and some heart disease, said Chief Coroner Craig Harvey. Breitbart had a small amount of alcohol in his system, but no prescription or illicit drugs were detected. No significant trauma was present and foul play is not suspected. A full report is expected to be available within...

As all the rest of us, I’m simply stunned. He was a wonderful man and always so kind. I loved him for his passion and commitment to helping us make our country safe and sound again. Our bond was very much that we shared the experience of being on the left, seeing it for what it was, and making that journey to the right. A person, especially those of us with the shared experience, simply felt safer knowing Andrew was around. He was a good friend and wonderful man. For those of us lucky enough to experience him, we will be forever grateful. RIP my darling. This is a huge loss for all of us and to the conservative movement...

Just obscenely wrong. And these are the same people who tell us every day they’re better than us and deserve to run this country. Outrageous. The Pentagon revealed on Tuesday that some partial, incinerated remains of 9/11 victims that could not be identified were sent to a landfill. The number of victims involved was unclear, but the report said the remains were from people killed when a terrorist-hijacked airliner struck the Pentagon, killing 184 people, and another crashed in Shanksville, Pa., killing 40, in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks… There was no indication that remains from the attack on the World Trade Center in New York were involved. The report was by an independent committee that had been asked to...

Here’s an Open Thread post for all things stuck in your individual craws. I’ll start us up with an update of the situation with Israel and the increasingly volatile threats against her and the Jewish community worldwide by Islamist beasts. All of this, of course, while Urkel and his gang would rather have you distracted by his Clown “Budget” and the Lamestream Media helping him along. Let’s begin with a favorite of mine, a video reminder of the special importance of Israel and the Jewish community. Sydney Morning Herald: Bombers target Israel in India, Georgia Times of India: Israeli diplomats world over use taxis after bomb attacks Haaretz: Sources: Israel not expected to respond harshly to India, Georgia attacks Hindustan...

An extraordinary talent and gave us the best national anthem rendition of all time. A troubled, talented soul, may she rest in peace LOS ANGELES (AP) — Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music’s queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died Saturday. She was 48. Beverly Hills police Lt. Mark Rosen told KABC-TV that Houston died in her room on the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton. Her body remained in the hotel and Beverly Hills detectives were investigating. Houston’s publicist, Kristen Foster, said Saturday that the cause of her death was unknown. Houston’s death came on the eve of music’s biggest night...

May They Rest In Peace: Christina Green, Dorothy Morris, Judge John Roll, Phyllis Schneck, Dorwan Stoddard, Gabe Zimmerman January 8, 2012 will mark the one year anniversary of the Tucson shootings which left six people dead, thirteen injured and Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords fighting for her life. For all Tucsonans, the date will be a time of reflection and acknowledgement with many memorial ceremonies taking place throughout the city. Giffords, other Tucson victims prepare for shooting anniversary It is hard to believe the one year anniversary is upon us. What stands out is the way Tucsonans came together in a dark hour. Many formed prayer circles, some of which lasted the entire weekend, when the news broke. We stood together when maligned by national as well as foreign...

An amazing debacle. Over a dozen agents are feared caught and killed. This doesn’t just happen. A CIA source says in this story that it’s all due to the incredibly great work of Hezbollah and Iran. Yeah, right. The other option is more probable–we screwed things up, or as serious–we have double agents in the CIA itself giving up what sounds like *every* agent we had in the Middle East. Gee, I wonder what Iran could be up to? /endsarcasm In a significant failure for the United States in the Mideast, more than a dozen spies working for the CIA in Iran and Lebanon have been caught and the U.S. government fears they will be or have been executed, according...

It's about time. For many of us in Los Angeles, the 'official' story of Natalie Wood's tragic drowning death in 1981 never rang true. Now, after 30 years, Los Angeles police want to talk with the captain of the yacht Wood and her husband Robert Wagner, and their guest Christopher Walken, were on the night she died...
