OMG! Another Palin Hand Crib Note!

by Tammy on February 8, 2010 · 30 comments

This horrible breach of thinking for herself and making a note has been exposed again–this time on Sunday during a campaign rally for Rick Perry. Yes, that’s right, I think it’s fair to say Sarah Palin is mocking “Handgate” by using it to send a special message to her mom. I think that’s called having a good sense of humor ;)

Sarah gives them some bait, let’s them nibble, then sets the hook and reels them in.

We can expect every and I mean every Democrat politician has committed those eight words to memory and will using her cribsheet as their speech outline for the rest of the year.

Just think Energy, Taxation, Lifting America’s Spirit… What else was there? Watch a Democrat and find out.

Bait, nibble, hook, reel – perfect assessment BeforeGoreKneel – WOOF! Anyone remember the West Wing episode where President Bartlet blurts out an apparent faux pas when the TV camera was still in recording mode? All part of the plot.

Them’s some slow fishes, but a few are catching on. From c4P, this account of one Huffpo dweller, Joan Wilson. http://www.conservatives4palin.com/2010/02/be-careful-when-playing-chess-with.html Wilson writes:

Addressing the Tea Party, Sarah Palin wrote three notes on her hand: “Energy, Taxes, Lift American Spirits.” Why? She already had notes in front of her on the podium. Surely she could remember three simple themes. Why write notes on her hand?
Here’s my take on why: she knew that they would be visible when she gave the speech. And she knew that she would be made fun of — as so stupid that she needs to write notes on her hand. And that’s one of her most effective tactics — to be made fun of. It’s an integral part of her strategy of standing in for hardworking, Middle Americans, derided by the condescending, know-it-all liberal elites.

PS. Henceforth, everything she writes there will be in the news.

We’ve just witnessed the birth of an entire meme. It’s simply amazingly how something so simple was introduced and explained. Quintessential Palin.

I’m writing ‘Sarah’ on my left hand now. What’s on yours?

5 TAM 2010 February 8, 2010 at 12:10 pm

Writing her name on my left palm was my first thought too!
Maybe it will catch on over the next two years and be as ubiquitous as what’s-his-name’s
stylized “O”.
How about a bumper sticker with “Notes to myself” printed on it and “Sarah” in the middle of a hand shape?

Doni Greenberg reports from Redding Calif. at the Sierra Cascade Logging Conference:

She endeared herself to the logging conference crowd by holding her hand up to show what was written on her palm: “Loggers rock!” – an apparent dig at “lame-stream media” who recently ridiculed her for writing memory prompts on her hand. And toward the end of her talk she complimented logging industry folks when she referred to an administration that talks about green jobs.

“You guys were doing green jobs before green jobs were even cool!”

(fingers crossed about my html. Sorry if I screwed up.)

The left are scandalized I tell you ! How can Sarah criticize the mighty Obama for needing his tele-prompter to tell him when to go pee when she must put ‘ cheat notes ‘ on her hand ?? My goodness it is the crime of the century ! Damn the left are desperate.

14 cmoore324 February 8, 2010 at 12:33 pm

from now on, at every rally, she’ll have something on her hand, just to see who’s looking. Just like Breitbart said hi to Cspan when he spoke to the delegates, and she did to CNN and others when she spoke Saturday night. It’s great.
Maybe that should be the Tammy Army signal. Look at the hand. TAM!

She just won’t give up!! There she goes again– how perfect!! I can hear the heads eploding and there is Sarah –woman warrior — marching on, head held high, smiling and maybe giving a wave with that hand!! She is one person who knows the meaning of the phrase when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Except, as always, Sarah takes it a step further –she makes lemon meringue pie.

and barry flips everyone the bird constantly and probably can’t breath without TOTUS and nary a peep- none of the hysterical shrieking that goes on when someone writes a few words on their hand.

grammar, logic, rhetoric= the ancient foundations of learning-not appearing at a school anywhere near you. at least sarah has something to say , makes logical arguments and presents facts and connects with the sentiments of her audience which is why she has an audience. who cares whether she writes a few words on her hand? the point is to persuade not dictate. barry dictates and scolds which is what all ideologues do. the media makes childish puns and promotes smearing as news and also dictates and scolds.all this says more about the media and left wing political circus in this country then it says about sarah palin or the tea party activists.

figures like obama identify with an ideology. sarah palin may represent a certain outlook but she identifies with people, specific people: american citizens who consider that they are and their leaders should be beholden to the constitution of the united states. it’s really that simple.

I was listening to podcast from yesterday, and heard the story of Matthews’ comment: “nothing there” regarding Sarah Palin.

Really, this kind of stuff makes me so happy I laugh out loud. Because it shows the Left has “nothing there.” It’s all smoke and mirrors (or teleprompters).

IF Sarah has “nothing there,” and she is the leader of the Republican and/or conservative movement why are these people like Matthews not celebrating with champagne and caviar every day. The Wizard of Oz song, The Wicked Witch is Dead, should be playing in their heads everyday. But it’s not–they are running scared because the witch isn’t dead, and all they have is the dumb bastard behind the curtain.

Wow, the impression left on that little girl must be amazing! Sarah Palin is such a great person. As far as notes on her hand, I always learned in my management classes in College that people who write on their hands have been the greatest leaders of our time, whether in Business or Politics. When I was in the Air Force, we always wrote notes on our hands after every aircraft repair so we could quickly write our reports when we returned to the office.
